Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

On a completely different note - I've developed a sweet tooth! I've just finished my lunch and definitely feel full - but still crave something sweet and possibly chocolatey like a Choc eclair sweet or cadburys roses. Had 2 Eclairs at morning break, but don't like the idea of having them throughout the day. Have temporarily satiated myself with chewing gum - any suggestions? Xx

When Im not 'dieting' Im never particularly bothered with chocolate but as soon as I am, I suddenly become obsessed with it lol!
I think its like smoking, the feeling will soon pass if you take some deep breathes the sensation will go away......crap! :D Never deprive yourself, maybe have some sweet fruit

It's a shame that Terry's chocolate orange is so high in syns - 42 syns for a whole one, I think! I'd be prepared to allocate a few day's syns on it though!

Having an EE day today as Ive just taken a chicken dish out of the freezer & its yummy with rice 'n' peas, I call it Chicken a la King! So, brekkie was yoghurt & berries, lunch homemade soup & dinner chicken dish, snacks will be fruit, syns will be a curly wurly & Hex's will be milk/phili (A) & ryvita (B) with some of my homemade jam (syns).
What are you all having today? x
P.S. I've just had a look about maintaining weight on the net & there are so many articles about it, all quite scientific, so a bit long winded about hormones etc & interestingly if we want to lose 'belly fat', have more of a low carb 'diet', which would be why a lot of us have Red days to shift the weight a bit quicker!
Oh dear, it can get complicated if we let it.......just stick to SW/exercise & we will get there! x

I've been doing Green all week, but I've not been very good at incorporating all of the Healthy Extras or eating enough Superfree food! I was considering trying Red days next week, so we will see how that goes!

Breakfast: 35g bran flakes and 125ml SS milk (HEB and 1/2 HEA)
Lunch: cheese sandwich (HEB and 1/2 HEA), packet of Pombear crisps (4) and funsize Curly Wurly (3)
Dinner: I intend to have a jacket sweet potato with salad (going to put it in the oven so it can cook while I'm running)
Snacks: vanilla Mullerlight, 2 x Dairylea light slices (HEA) and I have a banana and apple here to eat in an hour or two :)

Total syns: 7
Exercise: 30 mins of jogging (later!)

I'm definitely trying it next week then!! How do you find it fits in with the OH? Do you have to cook your food seperately? Cause you have to weigh the "unfree" (couldn't think of the word!) food at its raw weight, don't you?

x

Yer I just feed him exactly the same as what I eat and my Stepson eats the same too.
Its works quite nicely to be honest because they are getting nice home cooked food. I do sometimes add chips to their meals though x

Hi have just spent my dinner time reading this thread, lots of great support here :) please can I join you all
I have subscribed to the thread high 9's to low9's but not much activity on there, and then found this thread.
I'm not sure if I will ever get into the 8's but I'm currently 9.9 and would love to get down to the lower 9's :)
Like a lot of you I run too, so lots in common I'm doing a half marathon on Sunday, so been trying to get through the training for that, and my weight had sts since dec.
Once the race is done I will get back fully on plan and want to lose this last few pounds.
Look forwarded to chatting more :) xx

Funsize Curly Wurly is 3 syns - the same amount as the 2 eclairs you had earlier :)

I like to have one of those for supper with a cuppa before bed!

Think I might buy some fruit chewing gum or pineapple or something, I don't want to continue having something sweet if I'm already full. If I was hungry I'd definitely go for it!

I buy a cadburys party mix from tesco or asda - they have all sorts of treat size chocs for 3-6 syns each :) x

Hey! Welcome :) good luck with your half marathon - how long is that? I only run 5km a day but would love to eventually increase the distance.

Half marathon is 13.1 miles......a blinking long way! Ive done a few & its a great sense of achievement! Now your well in to your running Charlie you should sign up for some events, like a 10km o a Half! I find I always need something to aim for & keeps the motivation going. x

Hello & welcome......& yes we are a chatty bunch! :)

Feel like declaring my love for Ryvita crackerbread, just had two (one as HEB and one as 1 syn) with laughing cow light (HEA) and wafer thin ham. I prefer it to Ryvita slice thingies as they are more syns and I always get them stuck in my teeth :)

Need to be more adventurous with my lunch meals - been having salad with various toppings for at least the last month. Any suggestions? I like something light and perhaps salad based (or at least 1/3SF) :)
