Mmmm, have just made chicken pizza for dinner topped with tomato, fresh basil, 60g lf mozerella & 8 olives (1 syn). having a twice baked potato & salad with it.
Was in Sainsburys earlier & they have legs of lamb half price, so will cook a roast on monday. We always cook double bumpers, so have it again the next day & it always seems to taste better.....can you tell Im hungry talking about food! x

I like to have the mixed meat selection when I go to the Indian, so not too naughty, except for the lush mint raita that comes with it x

Hey everyone, been having look on here and hoping I can join in. Am in the 8's (8 10lb) but want lose more. Completely unhappy with my slow progress and my post baby body esp tummy. I have read few pages and it seems you all excercise a lot. Do you think this is a major prerequisite along with sticking to plan to achieving success?

Welcome!
I wouldn't say it's a major prerequisite for being successful with the plan, plenty of people lose weight fine without exercise. However it's more about toning and losing inches that exercise does for you, which by the sounds of it is something you want? You don't have to go mad to get into it either, I'm still working my way up ;D. But it will definitely boost your confidence, make you feel happier and healthier =)

Don't think it's essential - at the moment I am really pretty inactive other than short walks and my physio exercises I can't really do anything else until ankle heals and it's going to be very slow. Still losing weight fine but would prefer to be able to exercise alongside it mostly for the toning and inch loss benefits! X

Morning ladies.

Gosh I feel sluggish, hungover and tired! Had the nicest fish and mushy peas for dinner, even took the better off the fish! Had a few nuts and chips though, said no to pudding and the bought out birthday cake for my nan and grandad :-/ so had some. Had far too much alcohol too but today's a new day and I ready for any gain on Saturday, going to try a few success express days this week though to counter balance it!


Had a lovely evening until we got to bed and had an argument with OH which resulted in us still not talking this morning! I want breakfast lol!!!
 
Oh no nikki hope you're ok?! Maybe the booze didn't help? Me and my oh always argue if we drink too much. Well done on the restraint. Not sure I would take the batter off!

I was out for my Dad's birthday last night. We went somewhere v fancy but nothing on the menu was remotely on plan apart from the steak and that came with bone marrow so I gave that a miss!

Felt quite sick after all the rich food and had a few mad dashes to the loo in the night.

Ran 5k as fassssst as I could yesterday at the gym as really want to get my time down. Felt like I was going to be sick :( after and my legs feel sore today.

Going to try and get back on plan today as really want to at least sts on thurs.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :)

I'm ok thanks hun, just wish me and OH werent both so stubborn because we are both awake and neither of us has said a word. Really hungry for brekkie though and only got until 10 lol

I've been I'll for 2 weeks and I haven't been able to go to the gym or anything and so my training for the race for life has been on the back burner :-( must get back to the gym this week!

Well done on the batter - not sure I could have shown that much willpower! You might be alright for sat WI if you're good for the rest of the week ;) you had such a great loss last week though so even with a small gain you'd still be better off!

I'm like that after I've had some super rich food :( hope you enjoyed it while you were eating it though!

What time did you manage? I've found that I've decreased my time by using interval training rather than just running really fast as it gives your body a minute or two to rest between periods of speed. My favourite interval programme is 5 mins @ 9kph warm up, 1 min 10kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 12kph, 1 min 11kph, 1 min 10kph and then repeat until you have reached either 4.5km or the whole 5kph and do 5 mins @ 9kph for a cool down. If I'm feeling particularly speedy I'll add a 13 kph minute at the top of the pyramid, or do the next pyramid at 2 mins per speed rather than 1. Hope that helps? X

You're up early following a night of debauchery(?spelling!). You had an excuse for naughty food & have ages til Saturday to pull it back, so no stressing!

Yuch, bone marrow....aren't they treats for dogs, not humans! Rich food does that to me too! Im sure you will be fine if you get back on plan for thursday x

Off out for a bike ride in a bit, its lovely & sunny here but a bit cold!
Another Red day today. Meatballs in BBQ sauce with roasted veggies......one of my fave meals x
