Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Well if you get off to Tesco, I hope they have the deal there as well. Just give him pizza every night & you cook yourself up some lovely healthy salmon x

Mmmmm, lovely risitto all round today then! Thats how I tend to do my soups, just whatevers left in the fridge & cook it up x

Nikki I saw you posted on Sivermaneuks thread as well....very courageous lady to put that video up with her thoughts. Girls pop over & have a listen x

She is very courageous, she has an excellent link to another video at the bottom of her page. x

Trying to get back on plan today and feeling more positive now x

Not a brilliant picture I'm afraid as I used the fridge as a mirror. My knees really aren't that wobbly knobbly looking either! The dress is a size Small from Forever 21, £12.50 bargain! :)

Just had a look at the vanilla baked cheesecake....you could make it syn free by omitting the biscuit base! I made some egg custard 'tarts' recently & they were delish, so easy & Syn free! I could spend hours on Slimming Eats as there are so many gorgeous recipes, but wouldn't know which one to chooses first! x

Hi everyone, just wanted to pop on and say your all doing brilliantly. I enjoy reading your daily chats and should probably pop in more. Had rubbish few weeks food wise so verging on a fresh start with food already in which isnt exactly sw friendly but can try hard. My main concern isn't so much worrying about sticking to plan, mainly due to my freezer and cupboards not having best in it but to excercise. I was doing 30 day shred for couple weeks but stopped when I didn't see results. Silly I know and didn't give it a chance but think i was lookin for any excuse not to do it. So am starting afresh with it today. Nervous as I know its hard but excited as the more I do it the easier it becomes. Just wanted to ask how long did you ladies see a difference in your body after excercise or is that silly question as everyone is different? Also I would like to walk on the nights I don't do dvd but how much walking is enough for results? Would 30 mins to start with be a good start? Sorry if I am asking impossible questions but you guys seem so active. Hope your having good day x

Hi there.
In answer to your exercise question, yes everyone is different, but any form of exercise that increases your heart rate will be beneficial. 30 mins is a decent bench mark to start for walking, but you will need to powerwalk & not just go for a stroll! When I was training for the Moonwalk, I used to walk about 5 miles an hour. Why not measure yourself as well as weighing, as if you do, you may notice a difference in the measurements but not your weight. Try & make exercise a part of your daily routine & before you know it the inches will come flying off! Also, try & find an exercise you enjoy doing rather than doing something like the 30 day shred, that you didn't enjoy, as it will become a chore & you'll give up :)

Like Kim says, it's really important to find an exercise that suits you and will continue to fit in with your lifestyle.
I power walk, around 5-6 mph (I use map my walk app to help me keep track). Personally, I think that walking is one of the best exercises ever!! I love the feeling and I'm quite toned! Well, I'm happy with how a look and at my age, I'm never going to have the body of a 20 something!! X

Exactly Shellie x

Grr, just posted a big reply but it hasn't worked!

Basically - I agree with Kim and Shellie! 30 mins of raised heart rate exercise is good and choose something you enjoy :)

I have just entered race for life 5k in June, I could do further but it's my first race and I don't want to jinx it, plus am running with a newbie. Can't wait to hop on the treadmill this afternoon and see what time I can get!

Lastly, just found the egg custard recipe and am definitely trying that one! Though do you think I could swap the Fromage frais for natural yogurt or Greek yogurt? I usually do this on other recipes and they have turned out ok.

Do you not like fromage fraiche? Im sure it would be ok tho. Where did you get the egg custard recipe from, as I just made mine up!
If you're running with a novice runner Charlie, you may not get a realistic 'you' time as she may slow you down a bit as your a well seasoned runner now! There's loads of races around at the mo, why not enter in for a 10km or even a Half, as its great to aim for something! x

Just easier to get hold of the others and I have them with fruit in the morning :) I just googled it, I think it was on minimins actually!

I'm not planning on running with her when we get there (shhhh) as she's not a runner at all at the min and by then I will have almost finished my 10km training program! I've already started liking for 10km races and will definitely apply for some when I've done my training :) I've never run more than 7km in one sitting currently so the distance training is needed!

If you can run 7km you'll have no pros with a 10km! I'm sure you'll fly thru the 5km with all the training you're doing!

We're having a very foodie afternoon watching Rick Stein's Spain, a great program giving me lots of ideas x
