My dad spent the wedding fund when him n my mum split up so me n my oh are having to pay for it all. Hence lots of it been homemade. We r making the invites n me n my mum r making my dress. My mum is buying the flowers but we r gunna buy artificial and arrange them ourselves!

Evening all! Just got home! Tired now.
My date with the sofa and tv is starting in half an hour!
Congratulations on your loss Leanne and welcome!
I found that my figure changed after baby no.3! I like my rounded tummy now (not much choice really!).
Wedding arrangements sound great! We made our invitations. As it was the 2nd time around, we did most things ourselves!
Spent most of the day (apart from the hour in the train) on my feet. Heeled boots may not have been a good idea and my foot masseuse is out playing badminton tonight!
Hope you are all well? X

:( feeling lonely tonight. Gone over my pp by 5 and just cant wait for a fresh week to start after WI on Thursday. My head is totally in the game but im feeling really lethargic and cant be bothered to go to the gym or anything. NEED CAKE!!

Right ladies I need some fund raising ideas. My little cousin was diagnosed with a brain Timor a couple of months ago and even though it was removed it is still cancerous, she needs to go to America for proton theory which is funded by the nhs but my uncle has to pay living expenses for the 10 weeks it's going to take. Only thing is I'm terrified of heights so can't do anything like that. I want to do something fun. Any ideas?

 and its only 5 weeks and 5 day until France!! Jeezz knuckle down time definitely!

How about something like the moonwalk? But done locally? Or...car boot sale in aid of her cause and ask people to donate items?
Our best man was diagnosed with something similar recently. He's been granted the funding, but him and hubby have had to cash in their savings scheme to fund everything else.
I am so sorry about your cousin. I'd be happy to sponsor you or donate some items. X

Nikki - step away from the cake! Eat an apple or something. Remember what you are trying to achieve. X

Shave your head? Or is that too much?

Oh no that's awful vicky :-( what about a race night we have then at our school and my friend does one every year to raise money for a netball tour she puts on or a roller skatathon ??
Hope you manage to raise some funds cause life is precious xx

That's a good idea bout the skateathon. I might speak to my skating instructor. My school (work) don't let us do any fund raising in school as all fund raising has to be done in aid of good shepherd as we are a catholic school.

My family have cashed in the savings but my cousin is only 9 and has 3 siblings so as you can imagine the whole family is having to go over for it. They think they need around 8 grand :-(

I would shave my head but 1. School wouldn't be impressed and 2. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for me lol.

My friend is a Zumba instructor I might speak to her about doing a zumbathon

So Sorry to hear this hunni. Will defo have a think for you :) how about something along the lines of trying to walk/run/cycle/swim or blade x amount miles in a month? x

Sorry to hear about your cousin Vic such a shame. Sponsored anythings go down well as does hiring a hall and having bingo/quiz something like that, local businesses will often donate prizes too. X

Do you have an coffee shops pubs football clubs etc that could hold coffee morning, quiz night charity games etc. maybe some sort of Olympic themed pub night?
