Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Afternoon ladies :)

So sorry not been aroun much this week but as you all know I had an off plan weekend. Tomorrow is WI day and then it's 4 weeks until the wedding. Think I'll carry on with ww for the time being. Off away for the night tomorrow so Monday is a new beginning :) xxx

We are going to Birmingham. Just for the night with dinner & breakfast included and also safari park tickets hehe! Feeling a bit depressed about the scales tipping 10st again but I think I'll manage to get down to at least 9st 5 in 4 weeks :) x
 
Ok so lets get serious now. Advice please :D

So you all know what im like....flicking between 9st 5 and 9st 13 alllll the time. Not staying on plan, having a couple of good days, messing it all up with a bingey weekend.

So 4 weeks tomorrow I fly to France and I will be getting on the plane at 9st 5!!

Firstly, what day will WI day be? Im torn between Saturday and Sunday? (bearing in mind my flight is at 6am on a Sunday)


Im also debating doing a 7 day juice detox (this will include homemade soup at nighttime), I have done this before and lost 8lb in a week, I know it isnt sustainable BUT it flushes all the nasty toxins out and gets me a nice flat belly :D then i'll follow it with 2 weeks propointing but using my points for juice and having a proper meal in the evening and a soup at lunchtime. Then the week before France I'll do a mix of proper propointing and simply filling so as to prepare my body for the lovely French Food!

Also....now this is the biggy! I'm going alcohol free until France, tomorrow night I shall enjoy my vino and vodka and then away we go :)

I will alter my sig and girls i need as much support as possible :)

What's a juice detox nikki??


We had enchiladas on Thursday they were proper yum!!

Just got back from football with my oh, my boy and my god son. Was the last game of season so was amazing atmosphere and we won which is always a bonus. Got play offs in a couple of weeks and hopefully the final but then no football till summer. What will I do on a Saturday!!!!
Very proud of myself as I didn't have fish n chips, I didn't have a pie and I took something from my graze box to snack on. Second match in a row woop :)

Well I have Jason vales juicer and also the app and it's basically drinking soups and juice but last year when I did It I did drink juices out of cartons so long as they weren't from concentrate.

I'm loving the graze boxes!! I'm taking them with me tomorrow on my drive to Birmingham. Hehe. Great news about the football hun xx

Nikki I think you will do it just by being on plan you need to be carefully doing diets that restrict food huni I wouldn't want you to get poorly :-( we are all here to support you babe and I'm sure if you cut your weekend binges and alcohol you'll get those few pounds off before your trip.
Please be carefully babe it's not worth making yourself poorly xx

I started Slimming World around 2 weeks ago now and have lost 3lb so far, abit gutted that I didn't get a big loss like others I have heard, but i'm putting it down to that I don't really have the much to loose anyway, I want to get down to 8st 7lb ish again so I have abit to play with as i'm quite happy at the 9st mark. I go on holiday in 2 weeks so my first target is to get down to 9st 3lb, more if I can.

I'm not going to meetings just yet, my mum has clued me up on how it all works so I have been doing it from home, so I could possibly be doing something wrong? I've been mainly doing green days as I find red days hard, heres a typical day if anyone can tell me if i'm on the right track?
Breakfast: 2 Weetabix with 150ml semi skimmed milk
Snack: Vanilla muller light yoghurt, fruit(blueberries, strawberries and a plum)
Dinner: Spicy sweet and sour mug shot, sugar free hartley jelly
Snack: Quavers
Tea: Bachelors mild cheese and broccoli pasta 'n' sauce (made with milk and water) with a bag of steam veg and 1 laughing cow extra light cheese triangle
OR Jacket potato with branston baked beans and salad

1 Coffee with milk and sweetner and a few cups of tea with a splash of milk and sweetner.

Am I on the right track, should I be eating more?? :confused: Once I get back from my holiday I plan to attend the meetings to loose my last bit of weight, just can't really afford it at the moment!

Hello and welcome. You could have been writing this as your stats similar to mine pre and post baby. It's hard when your body changes isn't it?
I am 3lb away from target but it Has taken me a while to realise its not the number on the scales that will make me pre baby shape its excercise. I am few inches bigger all over even tho most old clothes fit. Have you measured? Do you get much chance to excercise?
Your daily menu is similar to mine but I am tryin to cut out the processed foods like mug shots and pasta n sauce but its not always easy esp when your in a rush or wee ones don't let you get moving.
Tonigt I chopped up all my veg for the week to make throwing a salad together easier. I also make home made soup and freeze it, same with mince, chicken curry etc as it makes staying on plan easier.

What day do you wi now I've forgot? If you wi Sunday you'll need to be really good sat nite for me sat/ sun are my worst days for staying on track. But I suppose if your trying to be strict for next few weeks then do Sunday cause then weekends will have to be 100% on track. Good luck huni xx

I support Huddersfield. We should have gone up in automatics but decided it was a good idea o sack our manager like 2 months before end of season n we have barely won since!

Oh Nikki you do make me chuckle! I've never known anyone to swap & change their diets sooo much! If you want my honest opinion, I would stick to WW or SW for the next 4 weeks coz when you're on plan you have great losses & I'm with Lynica on this one, could you stick to that strict a regime for a whole week....it would kill me! I love my food & you enjoy food as well so why deprive yourself when you can lose so well on SW or WW. If you stick to plan 100% & no booze I bet you could loose those pesky pounds!
In the end its up to you & I know you really want to get to 9.5 but can you in all honesty do a week with just juice. Not only that, you may lose weight in that week but once you start eating again won't some go back on? Just a thought as don't really know that diet.
So after me rabbiting on, its just my humble opinion, I honestly want you to do what's healthy.
If your doing WI from tomorrow id carry on a Sunday til hols.

I am on day six of being on plan. Rather pleased with myself and remembering to jot down "forgotten" syns. Had some chocolate and crisp last night but within syns and must say they weren't that great. Just shows ones the habit wears off you can go without it.
Hope to see movement on scales. Decided not to continue with shred til Tuesday night after weigh in, just an experiment. Think I am that desperate to see scales move I don't want risk excess water. Speaking of which i haven't been drinking enough of the stuff...must remember.
Anyway hope everyone is doing good x

I agree with the others nikki and proper eating plan is best way forward. I couldn't do juice diet but only you know yourself best. If you do decide to do it, its because you know you can. Think I would weigh in on Sunday mornin. Good luck x

Morning Deb. Hope you're feeling better by being on plan. Maybe when you've shifted a few pounds you can start with some exercise & Im sure will help with tonning.

Im off out on my bike today & must make it a regular occurance to get rid of these last 13lbs!

I still love my snacks on an evening, well at times, last night I was a nightmare (within syns but I couldn't stop) had a hifi as a HEB, two gingernuts, two party rings and a mini ripple. Then I had a frozen muller a pear, a kiwi and some plums :/

I'd weigh on Saturday, you don't want to be worrying about it just before you set off, one you might not have time and if you don't get the result you want you don't want to be dwelling on it
 
Morning ladies :)

I WI this morning and was 9st 11 do that's my new start weight :) feeling good, not bloated, flattish tummy!

Thanks for all your advice. I think I'll WI on Sundays but maybe WI the Saturday before I go on holiday. This means my 8lb loss I want will take me to 9st 3.

Also, I tried on a pair of shorts (white denim size 8)I took on the cruise and they still fitted the same as they did then. Yay!

On route to Birmingham and going to have a fab time hehe xxx

Feel much better Kim. After weigh in on Tuesday I Will start excercise again. It's my goal to lose inches!!

Well done hope you get a good result on wi I love the shred but I think at first you can gain that's one reason I've stopped wi weekly do definately feel slimmer ;-)

Vicky shared her recipe :

Chicken strips
1 tub Passata
1tsp chilli powder, 1tsp paprika (if you like them spicy add more of spices)
1 glove garlic
I put in sliced onions and peppers
All in the slow cooker, last half hour add 60g cheese
Warm corn tortillas add chicken mixture to wraps and put in dish do all 8 then spoon leftover sauce over top and sprinkle 60g cheese over top in oven for 15 mins

My hubby has 21/2 and me and the girls have 11/2 each so it's 9syns for wraps and a hexa
So yummy and my huuby says there tastier than the box ones you make up
We have them with sw chips and salad
