Does anyone know why, when I try to change the stats on my sig it keeps coming up with not enough characters, or summit like that....thats why Nikki's name is bigger it wont let me change it.....stupido!
I do like things nice & tidy! x

Maybe you'll have to delete part of you sig? I spent ages the other day doing a new sig and it kept saying not enough characters so ended up deleting it all :-( x

Very strange, maybe copy it all, save a blank sig and then try and paste it back in? X

Am just looking the book up on my kindle. Is it a good raunchy read or a romantic mushy novel? Are the follow ups 50 shades darker & freed in that order? I may have to have a little read! X

Yup that's the correct order Kim :) half way through darker at the moment. Defo more of a raunchy read and not a standard mills & boons type :p it's cheesy and not particularly well written, though I never read romance so maybe this is what they are all like! I do feel the need to finish the trilogy and find out what happens with them :) does seem to be a marmite book lots of 5 and 1star reviews. I don't pay for my books so I happily read anything ;-) x

Oh and I'm up for 100% challenge! Not entirely sure if I'm staying with sw or ww will see how weigh in goes, but either way I want to stay on plan :-D

Swithering with the idea of sw with tweaks! Like I really enjoyed smoothies and tinned fruit and wraps on ww but I love the free foods and cheese on sw. Might try having the occasional smoothie without synning it maybe even the odd tin of peaches and using wholemeal wraps as my heb. A rebel I know ;-) if it doesn't work out that's fine but I think using my logical head rather than what sw ingrain in your brain none of these foods are evil or going to magically give me huge weight gain when used sensibly. Anyone else tried tweaks? X

Not while tryin to be on plan but would love too haha. When am focused I stick to the rules, but I know what you mean. Is tinned veg allowed but tin fruit not? If so, wonder why?
That's my problem cos you get so engrossed with sw rules that it gets me obsessed. Tryin hard to go with the flow and even used syns for frozen fish last night. Interesting what the others think

Hmmm need to discover more filling things for lower points. So far today I've had:

2 crumpets - 4pp
Cereal bar - 2 pp
Velvet crunch -2pp

0pp tomato soup
Dairylea dunker - 3pp
Ww hot choc - 1pp

Not got any fruit and craving chocolate. Do you think the whole "3 days to curb a habit" is true? I mean I can easily go for days and day at 100% once I'm through the barrier, but the start is soooo hard, especially with hunger!

For dinner I'm having fajitas which totals 10pp and so leaves me with 4. But I don't want to waste these 4 on a bag of crisps or something :-( maybe a cup of tea might help.

Xxx

Yeh it's strange how processed things like pasta n sauce you can eat freely yet a smoothie is evil and a million syns? They fill me up and I really enjoy them so definitely considering trying them occasionally! Ideally I would love to just follow a healthy and sensible eating plan with no such rules and restrictions but I need the discipline if following a plan whether it be sw or ww. They all have their odd quirks I guess. X

How come you dont pay for your books? I get a lot of free ones on my Kindle, but some of them I pay for & other like the ones your reading now, Im sure are about £2! x

You can have tinned fruit as a HexB! Must admit, if ever I have a smoothie I never syn it, only use the milk as a HexA, but never syn the fruit as I would what I put in a smoothie anyway! You do whats best for you laura & see if it makes any difference to your losses....will be interesting to see tho! Adding you to the challenge! x

Some people find that even if doing propoints days using the simply filling foods helps them fill up and for less points. Or things like a bowl of cereal would fill you up lot more than a little cereal bar and lots of cereals are 3pp for a decent portion then 1pp for milk? X

I was trying to empty my cupboards lol I've left all my cereal and porridge ready for the rest of the week. I have no cereal bars left and no crisps so hoping tomorrow to try and have cereal :) and maybe beans on toast for lunch. Xx

Funny enough I was discussing this very topic yesterday with my mum & DH. How come processed c**p like mug shots & pasta 'n' sauce can be classified as free, but fruit if you use it away from its natural form like smoothies, have to be synned! I believe a mugshot is nearly 300 calories....thats a mars bar & I know what I would rather eat! Maybe SW will cotton on that a lot of people substitute their lunches with mugshots/pasta 'n' sauce & maybe start synning them, as surely they cant be good for you as its full of processed rubbish & SW is all about fresh healthy food, so its rather surprising that they advocate the packet food....in my humble opinion! By the time it takes to boil a kettle to make a mugshot, I could have knocked up a salad or sandwich by then!
Oops sorry, I seem to have got up onto my high horse! x

This is so true, I was saying to OH whilst we were in the pub the other day that people will happily have a mygshot as a "snack" and at nearing 300 calories you cant keep having them as snacks and hope to lose weight. A lots of my lunches dont touch 300 calories never mind having a 300 calorie snack! This is the one things with SW I disagree on, just like mullerlights! I think SW should take on some of ww ways as for example, 1 slice of bread at 2 pp yet 2 slices is 5pp making you see that you can't just eat eat eat xx

I know it's madness! I don't like mugshots and try not to rely on pasta n sauce and things but I do stock up when Asda has them 5 for £2 as a 40p lunch is always handy for work or emergencies. I do like packets of flavoured couscous though yum that's just because I find when I season plain couscous myself it doesn't taste quite as nice and again cheap almost instant food.

Definitely going to try the odd smoothie and not syn it (great way of using up bananas that would otherwise end up in the bin) and maybe even try some fruit too on sf as long as it was in fruit juice not syrup and you drained it it was free which seems reasonable to me. So yeh I just agreed to be 100% but actually I think I might go be a rule breaker instead ;-) x

Both sooo true. I am warped by it all. I have seen myself wanting slice of toast but have used bread as my healthy Extra so rather than syn the bread I have eaten mugshot instead...haha how crazy is that?
God just writing this has made me see sense...surely the toast would be half the calories? Yes indeed why do they do that? Also I have pasta n sauce and sometimes buy the dolmio stir in sauces at less than half the packet stuff....Friggen hell. Maybe it is best to follow sw (I need a plan to stick too) but tweaking where its sensible I.e I should make my own pasta and add a stir in sauce at only 100 calories as opposed to 400 for processed packet. It's just the mentality of going over syns I suppose....now my head is wasted haha

Why do you use a stir in sauce when you can made the sauce yourself? Eg a bolognese sauce its onions, mushrooms, garlic, tin toms or passata, basil, oregano, tom puree, splenda, beef oxo cube & worcester sauce. This sauce is Syn free & can be used for all sorts as a base.....bolognese sauce, chili, curries, stews .....x

I make my own Spag bol sauce but sometimes I like the stir in ones. Sweet pepper etc. Sometimes the home made ones are bit tangy with tinned tomato. Then are 75 cals for half tub so I don't mind if i really want it...just seems silly to not have it esp when pasta n sauce is way higher in cals yet lower in syns....its quite annoying when you think about it. Tho in fact pasta n sauce some have syns don't they?
