Report in sf day and 9 weeklies though could have easily ate loads more constantly hungry tonight :-/ did some exercise to keep my mind off it. Used a free workout app called skimble it's quite good! X

I'm cycling every other day now as had to start taking painkillers again as my neck was playing up with too much cycling! Couldn't do too much last week either as had house guests & too busy! Back to it this week tho but just need to take it easy as I do get carried away. I have to limit my mileage or I take myself off too far, end up doing too much & then paying for it with a pain in the neck literally lol! Xx

I wouldn't mind reading that, I've heard loads about it. We have LOADS of books though... I should really get a kindle

Haha, didn't turn off my light til 1am last reading THAT book! 'Pride & Prejudice' its not & had to keep reading to the juicy bits to see what all the fuss is about! Not the best written book I've read & the characters are a bit wishy washy, but Im curious now..........wont say anymore for you girls that haven't read it!!! xx

I was the same - the writing is pretty awful and nothing even really happens until the last book yet I was hooked anyway!! x
 
Morning everyone

Had the morning off work today and I can safely say I've wasted it :( Got a bit wound up by another mum at school and I've just ended up drowning my sorrows in front of the TV and laptop (luckily drowning my sorrows in coffee and herbal tea and not alcohol lol) but wish I'd done some exercise or at least some housework.

Been looking at holidays but doubt we'll be able to afford another one until next year, I'm not moaning as we are going to Butlins in August but I just really fancy a hot holiday :p

Trying to plan for Saturday as well, we have friends coming round and they tend to get takeaway, I could always cook for them, in the past we've done veggie sausage and bean casserole or chilli, but I think they enjoy getting their pizza. I can't decide whether to get a shish kebab and use my own HEB pitta, get a chinese (as I can just walk down to that) or I was thinking I might have a red day and cook my own ''kebab'' well chicken salad and pitta, then I can have some syns on either a few drinks or some chocolate

Im a good swimmer, but dont particularly like it as I find swimming boring! I much prefer to work up a sweat & being outside in the fresh air, even if it is wet, cold & windy lol! x

Thats the trouble with these books, they suck you in & you end up buying the follow ons as you need to find out what happens! Its easy reading & a bit of a giggle, so not too much of a hardship! x

How funny my friend had just recommended that book Kim.... Might have to find it although not got a kindle yet although I'm getting a new phone today so if sell my old one might buy a kindle.
Race for life was brill last night very proud of my little baby we did it in 39 mins she was fab here's us with our medals

Do you think I'm looking too thin in the face be honest please cause I'm thinking iam and it's first time I'm noticing my weight loss, I don't want to start looking old and I worry if I loss anymore I'll start to look too old what you think ??

Well done, you look great as well (especially to say you've just been running) I don't think you look too thin in the face now, but you do look really nice, I don't think you need to loose much more in case you do start looking to thin in the face...

Hi Ronnie. I think you're looking just right, but anymore & you may start to look a bit gaunt. That's the trouble, with being that 'little bit older', it does show on our faces, where the younger girls can get away with it..........not that we're 'old', just a wee bit 'older' lol!!!
Well done on the race, you both should be very proud xx

Donna I haven't did the shred or any other excercise for while. Am just not there. I am tryin hard this week yet cos I have night out comin up its as if am tryin to sabotage myself. So am going to ensure I have big dinner that night and not sure if I will even drink yet. You always manage to do so well...keep it up

Kim your best sticking to what you know and you enjoy your bike rides tho will you fit them in with those books lurking around ;)
