i also had my first run last night...didnt help sore neck...but did three miles. i have missed it

Start of my red days and 15 days off the booze to hopefully see the 10's by the time I go away for the weekend.

Any recipes or tips for red days?
 
I've changed my goal slightly for the Challenge by adding on another pound for my range. So, I'm setting my goal to maintain at 8.7 - 8.11. I was thinking of changing it up to 9st, but thats too much of a range. The reason being is, I'm not so active now and I'm still happy with a weight of 8.11. Think tomorrow tho I'll be up nearer the 9st mark as I had a chocolate fest last week, so think I'll have to knuckle down and behave myself and probably restart my diary.

i had chocolate binge too. after Chinese lunch at 1230 i had nothing til 9pm but had two slices toast. two packets wotsits, curly wurly and a ripple....eeeek
 
Look what a customer has just brought me to say thanks for sorting something for her oops...

Going take it home for the girls and hopefully I won't dive into it... Luckily I'm not craving choc this week so I should be able to resist, although worked syns out and 5 squares is 7 syns so could have a strip and still be on plan :))

It's lovely though to think that someone I don't know would go out there way to get a thank you gift very nice gesture and made my day x

how did you get on nikki? i normally use my healthy extras on red days for pitta bread filled with bacon lettuce and tomato with mayo and red onion. or for chilli. plus maybe bread for breakfast with eggs. must say am looking forward to getting back on plan properly x

I'm doing my advanced diploma in purchasing. In January I'll be finishing this and starting my masters. I have no idea how I'm gonna do it though.....I think my brain will pop
 
Pilates was really good again :)


I've been invited out Monday night though..... not sure whether to go or not :/ they have a Christmas do as well, which again I'm not sure, I really want to go but need to pay deposit next week and we don't know whats going on in December yet

Kim i don't know but its 420am and not long taken pain killers. initially it was just sore. gradually i had to turn my whole self to turn. pain killers must have been hiding the pain. was sore after my run Wed night and gradually getting worse. the top of my shoulder is now numb feeling and also sore..when i swallow i feel pain on that side too.
do i see a doctor? yesterday i was just taking paracetomal every few hours but its gettin worse x

I was in the gym yesterday and had an assessment with gym instructor, she said I could go down to 8st1!!!! I think this is very low for me, anyway she went on to do my body fat and said it was on high side. I don't know why, I exercise 5 days a week with different things; running, spinning, kettlebells, weights. She wants to see me again in a month, so I'm going to try lower this body fat. She did take it after I had exercised and the best time to take it is in morning before food, water or exercise.

yikes that sounds like a lot of exercise. i bet you are pretty damned toned! i think only you can decide on your weight to be honest. keep that in mind Mrs x

took some more tablets and its not as bad but still uncomfortable. only happened Tuesday morning so perhaps see how i get on. it feels bruised ugh poor Kim if this is how i feel

pilates sound great donna..i wouldn't worry too much about weight as i bet you look great
 
really happy ladies...over 3 weeks including two weeks all inclusive i have put on 3lbs. honestly so happy.
going by these boobs its probably all in them lol
so starting weight for challenge is 8st 3.25
 
Woohooo after the big 2lb jump and the scales staying there for like 3 days today they have dropped back to 11st 1.75lb!!

Mmm, doesn't sound too good to me. Try taking Paracetamol and Ibuprofen as that will help with any inflammation and pain. If you have a hot water bottle or hot pack, have a sit down and apply it to the area thats painful, it really does help.
How did you hurt your neck.....fall, picked something up etc??
Do you have any pins and needles in your fingers, pain down the arm or in your fingers?
My advice would be to see how you get on over the weekend and if its still sore on Monday get to your GP. But if you're really concerned go to an out of hours GP over the weekend. Also, you can always ask me for any advice and hope I can help you, as I do seem to be rather an expert on pain at the moment! x

Well done Debbie you're still in range and seem to have this maintaining malarky well sussed!
8st 1lbs is a wee bit on the low side, as that would give you a BMI of 19.4, which is just in the healthy range! Im a bit cynical cos I think maybe she's saying that to keep you going back as they want the money! Its great you're going to the gym to keep healthy, fit and toned, but I would hate to think they're saying your body fat is too high to keep you paying for it. How did they measure your body fat and what was it?
Whatever you're doing tho seems to be working cos you're a lovely healthy weight x

Yay, well done Debs thats hardly any weight gain you good clever girl! You certainly have got the hang of SW and running now, so keep going with what you're doing and you'll be back down to 8st before you know it x
