Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I was back to 10 stone this week :(

I wasn't going to weigh as I knew it would be bad, but I'm glad I did to be honest. Think it may be another gain this week and possibly next week as well.... hopefully the next challenge will be my challenge haha (I'll do my best to maintain these next few weeks too
 
Hopefully a new GP will be a bit more aggressive with your treatment Nikki cos something certainly needs to be done as it's been going on for too long!

Just try & do some damage control Donna when you're not socialising & at least you can hope for a maintain

I think if the doc won't do anything I'm going to go to a&e to try and get some answers!

I'm going full force ahead with slimming from tomorrow as the healthier eating should help too. I have 6 weeks until Millie turns 1 and even though my 9st target is practically impossible I'm heading for 9st 7lb or maybe 9st 5lb I have no other plans apart from Easter so I'm hoping to be firmly in the 9's by Easter as Richs sister is having Millie for a day / night and we are hoping for a nice hot day by the waterfront xx

Kim am doing it for the neonatal unit at our hospital. my boy was in for ten days when born and my niece was too. always said i would do something.....four bloody years later i am. not big on getting sponsors and dont know that many folk but something is better than nothing

day two done!!

i did 41 miles in total for march. very pleased!

Morning ladies day 1 of 50 complete yesterday, 49 to go!!! Did 4.5miles but will be doing 3.2 miles today ;o) feeling extra fat/soft chubby so hoping the increase in excercise will help

Got my stats wrong!! I keep the printout from Boots and I was looking at the wrong one!! Did myself out of a pound! I`m now 9st 10lbs!! I posted last weeks ststs earlier!! Silly me! :)

If defo go with the second one Donna! Well done on everyone's losses this week. I'm really trying to be good this week because I don't want a gain and would love to see the 9's at official weigh in! I'm getting myself down and worried :-( still got these nasty headache and I'm going back to the docs for the 3rd time on Friday because is so sore, almost like my scalp has been pulled from my skull and it's always in the same place I've also noticed a fontanelle like feeling right in the centre of my head right next to the sore spot. Doctor is just making excuses and I just want to know what's wrong!! Luckily I've booked in with a different doctor this week so I'm really going to stand my ground because I'm so worried and can't help but think the worst!

Ooh Nikki hope you feeling better soon make sure the new doctors knows how long you've had these headaches ... You do drink enough cause dehydration can leave you with a funny headache ? Hope you get it sorted on Friday take care xx

morning ladies, hope you are all good?...few things to ask:
day 3 of 50 did yesterday. i opted for the 30 day shred as 30 minutes of exercises is allowed (doesn't need to be running walking or cycling all the time)...anyway i feel much fitter and can do the shred no problem. i also feel my fittest and have never did so much exercise is my life.
why then did i feel disgusting last night seeing myself in the mirror?
have i been eating too much that the exercise isn't getting a chance to work? i weighed today and i am now back up to one of my highest weights.....8st 9lb.
my arms are definitely toned. my period is due, could all these things be a factor?
no longer buying or eating the big bags of crisp so will be careful to avoid all the snacks. my food is generally ok.
perhaps its catch up from when i was eating rubbish

plus....i got an offer on my house and am now scared. in a good way but wow how my life is changing :)

Im no expert, but I think psychologically it takes our brains time to catch up with a new slimmer/toned body. As habitual dieters, we are never happy with our body's and notice every single lump! So, if your brain sees a 'higher' number on the scale, you will automatically think you must be, in your words Deb, disgusting! Where in fact you've probably never been slimmer/toned because of all the exercise. We are all the same about those numbers on the scale and can alter our daily mood! Instead of actually going by how we actually really look and feel in our clothes......are your clothes getting loose? Your period us due which can play havoc with us mentally, so ignore how you feel this week lol! Post some pics and see if we can see a difference :)

You got an offer......YIPEE! Your life is turning a corner, you're slimmer....life is good :) x

Feeling really bloated today, can`t think why.Can`t totm, haven`t had them for years!!

Have you had a lot of carbs/fibre lately Annette? Are you retaining water? Only suggestion for bloating is drink plenty x

Well, I've had an intersting 24 hours.....got a phone call from Hubby's medical officer that he had been rushed into hospital with acute abdo pain. Luckily, one of his colleagues drove me up to Taunton which is about 90 minutes away and he was still in the Emergency Dept when we got there. He had to stay in overnight but all ok now.
So food wise its been a bit lacking! Yesterday all I had was an apple and a millionaire shortbread bar - 300 calories, so my 15 syns for the day and today I bought a healthy veggie pasta salad from Tesco on the way home. It would have been so easy to eat crap, but I stayed faithful to SW as much as I could. I only ate the millionaire shortbread bar cos someone bought it for me.....it was gorgeous!
So really not sure what WI will be like this Friday as I've had no sneaky peeks!

Think my spud portions have been a bit generous lately.
Took your advise, Kim. Tried to drink more.
Prescribed myself a couple of red days to help combat it.

Hope hubby gets better soon. At least, he`s in the best place.
Don`t worry about the shortbread!! You`ll soon get back on track!!

thanks Kim...you right as always. i think the lightening in the room was doing me no favours as i looked much better in the daylight.
just going to keep at it. scales are still way up but sod it.

think i need to try red days. need to get my thinking cap on as i have been eating too many carbs too.

day 4 of 50 yesterday. did 4.5 miles and really enjoyed it. i did more miles yesterday than i needed too for my marathon training. legs are throbbing today yet i know its from doing the shred.....seriously must have been going for it too hard.

anyway day 5 today....hoping someone will look after the wee one and am just going to walk the 5k today
 
Hubbg back to fullish health today albeit a bit tender.....so have a nice long weekend off together and then he's off on Easter leave from next wednesday......wander what jobs I can find for him to do hehe!

Am going to do an inventory of the freezer and see if we can just eat the freezer all of April and just get away with buying fresh fruit and veg. Im getting very good at bargin hunting and love the satisfaction of it!

Keep hydrated Deb cos it's the lactic acid making you sore, but you're doing great x

Kim.i am the same. very tight budget for me and little one and that what i did last week....shows how much waste we used to have
