Welcome to the club, you have nearly as much as me to lose. Your taking a step in the right direction though. Maybe we can help each other along this journey, i dare say there will be bumps.... But with the support it should be a little easier on us. Good luck with monday, and let us know how u get on.

Hi miss mdg, ur doing great with it. I had my first weigh in today and had a 11lb loss. It's only a dent in what I have to lose. But it's 11lbs never to be seen again. I don't want to be dieting my whole life lol I'm determined this time, I will beat it! xx

Well done everyone. . I am def in this group. I have 12 stone to lose. Seems so daunting but I am procrastinating for so long about my weight. My son more or less said do it or shut it :). His poor ears are bent from years of moaning so I don't blame him one bit. Here's hoping we can encourage each other on this huge journey (though if we look at it one day at a time then sure it's only a day)

Thank you my main problem is feeling lethargic. Just keep topping up with water. The weird thing is as you get the hunger out of the way. I keep thinking this Weight loss can't be real in such a short time.WHY DIDN'T KNOW ONE TELL US BEFORE ha ha xxx

Hi Helen. I'm also from your neck of the woods - Cork- and have quite a bit to lose. I've set goals but they seem to be small ones - get to half stone, then stone etc. Main goal is not to look ridiculous in a dress at Christmas. Having a party for my daughter then and she wants me in a dress. Oh the terror. :)

@appyachel maybe it is the men ;), my husband is very supportive n understanding bless him. I'll keep onto him for another bit anyways lol @mistymoo15 that's a good goal, it's doable. Mines to get out of the 21st, 20st, 19st etc bracket. @jells welcome :) that would be lovely for Christmas. I haven't wore a dress in years, I was never a girly girl. I have a big family wedding in sept. Last 2 big family dos have been funerals. So I blended in well with my black. Glad to see a local on this forum lol

@Hez I'm also a huge fan of the black. It's great to see other Irish people here too. It's also great to have a support group like this, particularly when friends don't understand the diet I'm doing. Thankfully my husband is also very supportive and understanding. Reckons he can't wait to see me in a dress again - it's been quite a few years. THink it'll have to be black cos I'm not ready to do the whole girlie thing no matter how much weight I lose. :D
