    Am I the only one doing this diet?:confused:
    I know there are some of you who are thinking of doing it but if anyone is one the diet I'd be glad of some company:wave_cry:.
    I've had a couple of blips along the way but on the whole not to bad.Any suggestion for DD food as I start eating properly on them today. Looking forward to some chat:rolleyes:

    Hi! I want to do this diet. I can't get the juddd web site to work. How have you done on it? Do u have to do shakes at first? Thanks

    Hi. Yes doing really well on it. 9lb in 2 weeks :) I've had problems with the web site as well. You can get the book from Amozon at almost half price, it is worth a read as it dose explain it all in detail and there are a few recipies in the back for Down Days (although it's all in American measures).
    I used shakes for the first 2 weeks (Tesco own, strawbwerry and chocolate) and made the difference up with a bowl of salad and an apple. Not very exciting I know :) You will feel hungry on the first 2or3 DD but just remind yourself you can eat tomorrow and have a bottle of water with you so you can keep sipping it. Dr Johnson suggests you don't drink your shake all at once but keep sipping form them through out the day. I drank first one. Did as suggested with second one (started it at lunch time) also took an apple with me so I could have some real food and then had a salad or strawberries and fat free yoghurt in the evening.
    Yesterday was the first DD that I could eat all day (you can have 1 shake as a meal if you want to) and I honestly didn't want to eat until 10 in the morning! Even this morning I'm not sitting hear thinking "I need food now". Sammy suggested that my stomach may have shrunk and I think she's right. I've gone from grazing all day to hardly eating every other day and if I try to eat a big meal I can't do it. We went out for a meal the other night and I had to leave half my meal. Couldn't face a pud and the place we went to do my fav puds!!

    Not me!! I have to say I'm finding it a lot easier than I thought. Today has been a down day and although a little hungry I've got by. The wierd thing is I find I'm not as hungry as I thought I would be first thing in the morning on D.D. I normaly have breakfast around 7 in the morning but the last 2 D.D's it's been mid morning before I've needed to eat. That is so not me!!
    Anyway if your on this diet and you want a buddy just drop a line or two here and I'll get back to you :)

    Thanks! Today is my first down day. I can't fine the calculator I keep reading about. I have drinkin 160 cal of a protein drink so far today. My starting weight is 188 lbs. I am 5 8' I am very excited:) I need to by the book I guess.

    Hi ladies.

    Fmlysr4ever. I would recomend buying the book. I would never have followed the diet without. It helps to be able to go back and check things.

    Louise. I ate for England on Tuesday!!! Porridge and banana, some cherries, walnuts,6 tubes of canaloni, a bounty ice cream,2 tubes of Fruit Pastles (don't think they count towards my 5 a day), a bar of Dairy milk and strawberries and yoghurt. Ended up feeling rather ill but on the plus side I didn't want to eat til 10.30 this morning!!
    Good to have someone ealse doing this diet :)

    Poor you.. What have you had so far? It took me 2 weeks to get to the point down days are bearable!! Drink lots of water and remind yourself you can eat tomorrow. Good luck :)

    I had to step on the scale 3 times this morning!! Down 2 pounds!!!:) and this morning is an eat day and I cant find anything that makes me want to scarf it down!

    I have to be honest and say I have troghed out this morning (Up Day). One of the horses kicked me this morning and I'm feeling sorry for myself ;(. Need to get my arse into gear or I won't be doing a D.D. tomorrow!!

    Can't wait for up day had three cup a soup six apples and 9 cal jelly got 150 left for hot choc with milk at 9pm!!

    Fmlysr4ever.. Well done 2lbs down already.. I know what you mean about not wanting to scarf anything on your up day. I spent 5 mins walking up and down the sweetie shelves in local shop the other day!! Sadly I got over it..Not good.Still it's a down day tomorrow. Just thought. As far as calorie counting, I'm doing it the old fastioned way..I brought a little book in W.H.Smiths!!

    I quite like idea of this! Just a bit worried eating so low calorie us teaching bad habits!! Can see how it works though and can't wait till tomorrow!!!

    It is easier to tell myself I an do it because I can eat tomorrow. With most diets you can't do that! Good luck ladies! I am enjoying having a little team here! Where are you ladies from?

    I didn't keep track of my calories I ate today. I have been keeping track for so long today I feel guilty for not writing everything down. On the other hand it felt like a relief too. I am in Utah!

    Louise. I can see where your coming from but if you balance it out it works out at around 1200-1500 per day. As he says in the book go for nutrion on both days. The one thing I've noticed this morning is I am slightly hungry and I think thats down to the fact I ate a lot of sweeties yesterday!!! So watch youselves ladies. Don't go to mad on your up days.

    Fmlymsr4ever. I don't always keep track of my up day cals. Going on yesterday I will be tomorrow. It just makes you more aware of what your eating. I know one of the points of this diet is you can eat whatever you want on an up day, if I eat sweets all day I'm not going to loose weight in the long. More than anything I need to change my mindset around sugary food or I'll never stay a healthy weight.
    How Utah this morning?
