anyone tried river cobbler?

    does it taste nice? its only 1.5pts per fillet so i thought i might try it, but wanted to know if it was worth it...

    We have had it, i think it was nice, same as haddock and most other white fish ;)

    its the same as basa, talipa, its all the same fish with a diff name, its had bad press but its safe, Ive had it and it fresh, then breaded and it was very nice

    ahhh see thats the thing, does it taste like muddy water? like trout does?

    i think i just died, i just did an hour on the treadmill to counter act the binge i had tonight :(

    river cobbler is a white fish, and trout isnt.. so why would they taste the same? :p

    coz they both live in rivers where there is mud....thus the muddy flavour like carp as well....

    i think its quite sweet, really tasty. Not fishy at all.

    yeah not bothered about the fishy taste i looooovvveee fish just generally dont eat river dwelling fish, but i'll give it a go!
