Anyone up for a juicy July challenge?

Setting targets for myself really does help me however i wont be meeting my target this month as still have 3 pound to go and only 1 weigh in left, it does put a lot of pressure on people but for me i think that is needed.

I've found it's too much pressure for me personally, so for august I've set my goals a bit lower. I've got to realise I'm not going to have the massive losses I had at the beginning as I'm getting closer to my target

It's interesting looking through the list we have some really bit losers then others that don't.

I have one more weight in for July and would like to get 4lb to reach my target but have a small lose last week has made me think that it's not a true sport. I was devastated last week, a good week, with just 1lb

Are we setting ourself too bigger targets? should we just feel good about ourself for losing something?

Guess some people like targets an other are threatened by then.

e.g. couple of years ago my SW class had a Christmas tree with stars for what you want to lose in 12 weeks. I put 10lbs thinking less then 1lb a week easy. I didn't come anywhere close to that and did feel a bit pressured by the thought

Don't mean to be a downer I think all people who have met and will meet there targets have done great it's just a topic for discussion.... an interesting one.

I am a naturally competitive person- i was a competitive swimmer when i was a kid- so that push always helps me.
But, i think i was a little over ambitious this month, but that's ok- ive set myself a smaller target for this month.

Even though i wish i met my target- the fact that even with one weigh in to go, i've lost half a stone- that is freaking awesome! i am really hoping that ive lost 3lb this week- to take me to 10lb loss and .5lb over my club 10 target. anything more would be a bonus. i have been good, im proud of myself

Seriously if you knew me 3 months ago- i would NOT be saying this- i would be beating myself up for not getting my target in 2 weeks or something. this weight loss journey is actually making me a happy person, for the first time in about 10 years....its amazing, i love it

yeah- i can understand why its pressure for people, it can be unhealthy- for me though, its just a teeny bit more of a push

and i WILL reach my target next mpnth
