But I'll never never spill the beans on secret santa - and I know plenny.... ;)

I don't think I've ever had damson gin Marty.

me neither, but seeing as there are 3 damson trees in the garden i thought it best to turn them into something interesting!

i also have 6 gallons of damson wine on the go, and some damson vodka, and 1 gallon of carrot wine (well, i grew them before i knew i was going to do atkins, seemed a shame to waste them!)

:confused::confused:

Jim that doesn't compute an alcoholic beverage you're not acquainted with???
:D ah well, there had to be one Lesley. ;)

You'll have to bring some of that wine down as well then Marty.

My mum made some carrot wine once, talk about rocket juice. LOL.

Carrot wine???? Never heard of that before - what's it like (apart from being strong lol)?.

After growing up with The Good Life, I always wanted to try peapod burgundy :)

It's quite nice, Mum used to make a parsnip wine as well, that was damn strong too. Veggie wines are different Susie, hard to describe the taste really, the carrot one in particular has a sweetish flavour, but is very clear and has a kick at the end of the mouthfull.
