Awkward.........help needed please

I'm on day 10 of TS and am in the zone - right mindset etc. However, today, hubby and I have been invited to a meal to a new couple at our church who have just moved into the area. They're lovely, don't know anyone and their first baby is due in 6 weeks. We've accepted as we didn't want to be rude and we do genuinely want to go round and get to know them better.

I don't really want to tell them that I'm doing this as I don't want them to feel uncomfortable in any way. They've asked if there's anything we don't like! I've explained that I'm trying to reduce the amount of carbs and my portion size. Apparently they're thinking about something like chicken fajitas then we can help ourselves and have as much/little as we want.

Will I be ok having a small portion? I know I should be ok with the chicken but what about the fajitas themselves? Do you think it will do too much damage? I'd prefer not to eat really so want to do as little damage as possible.

I'll be fine drinking water and black tea/coffee and Wednesday I'll be back on TS. Just typical this comes up now:mad: when I'm feeling so strong!

Any advice gratefully received:)

If it were me I would just go for the chicken and veggies because having the fajita/wrap thingy would probably knock you out of ketosis and you could gain weight coz of the carbs.
You've already told them you're cutting back on carbs so just having the other stuff wont be a problem.

If you can get away without eating the wraps then I would do that. They will definatley make you feel bloated :(
Wrapping in lettuce is a great idea :D

You have done soooo well up to now, and I think you will be shocked at how much your stomache will have shrunk, and will need much less food anyway ;)

Thanks for all the advice. I never thought that I'd not want to have food!

I'll just a bit of chicken and veg - will definitely avoid the wraps! I'm determined to have as little as possible. I'm still very much in the zone and don't want to undo what I've done so far!

I'm hoping my stomach has shrunk - that'd be great after such a short time :)

I knew that I'd get great advice on here - you're all fab:D
