Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Have bookmarked your diary to inspire me and try some of your recipes ... gosh what an achievement your weight loss has been, you must be so proud.

Good morning from a very very snowy me :26:
we have woken up this morning to another 8" of the white stuff on top of the 18" we had allready...and its still going :33: -so the bird table and bath have been seen to again and now we get to just sit and look at its "prettyness" :D...all lovely n festive it is :xmastree:

Anyhoo, despite my shoving cold n flu tablets down me I think I have picked up a bit of what hubby has :grumble:.. only really a sore throat so far, but I feel ok...so I will just keep the fruit n fluids up and see how quick I can get shot of it....
oooohhh the turkey steak with garlic mushroom sauce last night went down a storm... hubby requested it again :D, I was half expecting him to ask for it for tomorrow...

Anyhoo today will be another red one and should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • banana
  • blood orange
  • salmon fillet
  • tickled cabbage
  • minced beef casserole (1)
  • 198g steamed potato (B)
  • broccoli
  • cabbage
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • activia (2.5)
  • 250ml semi (6)
  • fruit allowance:-
  • 1 apple
  • 1 blood
  • orange
  • 8 clementines
Now then that will be 2A+Bs and 9.5 syns accounted for... although I may make myself a hot toddy (3) OR just honey/lemon and hot water (1) if I need one later ;)

whilst Im here I may as well list tomorrows food -although I do plan on popping on.. anyway this "should" be what I have-red day again:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 2 clementines
  • 1 banana
  • roast chicken
  • 2 pigs in blankets (3.5)
  • 98g potato (0.5xB)
  • carrots
  • nobbies
  • cabbage
  • 71g peas (0.5xB)
  • gravy (0.5)
  • tropical fruit
  • prawns
  • tickled cabbage
  • tickled beetroot
  • tickled bunions
  • home made coleslaw salad (0.5)
  • peppers
  • activia (2.5)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fruit allowance :-
  • 12 clementines
  • 2 blood oranges
  • 1 apple
right that -not so little lot will come in at 2A+Bs and 7 syns -so I will have a few spare in case I want something else...

Prawn -I don't think you can quite count a "tap it n unwrap it" as 1 of your 5 a day - although with it being xmas -who knows ;)
Hi SallyA and thankyou :D - hope you like the recipes and look forward to seeing you pop in when you have time...
ooohh Sarah83.... I love duck -especially crispy with pancakes

Morning Trace.... believe it or not I can eat as much fruit as you can throw at me and it never makes a difference  - I think it must be because I have always eaten a lot of fruit n veg...
I have just nipped out and spent 15mins shoveling the very heavy snow away -I have cleared all 3 houses in our row...hubby reckons its amazing the lengths I will go to just to burn some cals :D-but I quite enjoy it... it was lovely n quiet and rather beautiful...although I can feel it in my arms now :p
I hope you have a lovely christmas too... and get those feet up and have a rest whilst listening to BonJovi VERY loudly Mrs !!!!!
:47::48:

:xmassign: to everyone... hope santa has been kind to you all, and that you all get to make some great new memories with your loved ones...

Well Im glad we were planning on a lovely quite day as I have got up feeling like a combination of  :yuk::sign0137:.......... hey ho - at least I can chill out.....
Anyhoo -santa has been kind to me as I had a big box waiting for me and :bliss:it was all clothes .... hubby has been a clever wee santas helper -I had been looking at a sale a few weeks ago and had stuck loads of items I like into the "wish list" feature so i could go back and look at them again without trawling the whole site-well I never thought any more of it and b*gger me if hubby didn't go and order it all :faint2: - so I now need more coathangers :rotflmao: there are 16 items -either dresses or bolero/cardies to go with them.... so now I really need to keep on losing as all the dresses are 16s !!!
Anyway -as predicted -here is todays red meal plan (altered slightly to remove hard to swallow things :p):-

  • 250ml semi (A)
  • banana
  • clementine
  • roast chicken
  • 2 pigs in blankets (3.5)
  • 100g potato -steamed (0.5xB)
  • 71g peas (0.5xB)
  • nobbies
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • gravy (0.5)
  • tropical fruit
  • prawns
  • tickled cabbage
  • tickled
  • beetroot
  • peppers
  • tomatoes
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • fruit allowance:-
  • 2 blood oranges
  • 6 clementines
  • frozen berries
now then, that covers 2A+Bs and 4 syns and I will see if I need more milk or a yoghurt etc later -ooohh and possibly a few syns for some honey n lemon ;)

Right that is far too much blah blah blah for now..
Have a lovely day everyone and keep safe n warm.....
:xmascheers:

Merry Christmas Hun, hope you feel better as the day goes on x

Merry Christmas Hun, hope you feel better as the day goes on x
Thanks Sarah....
Im still *bleughhhh* but its nothing I won't survive -although I wasn't acting like I believed that earlier :giggle: -hope you have had a lovely day...

My meal plan changed a little today -I just couldn't face anything this evening -apart from a bit of fruit and a yoghurt -so I have finished today on 2A+Bs and 6.5syns..... lets see what the scales have to say in the morning shall we :cross:

Well being a serious sad sack I have sorted out my freezers again today *I know how to live it up don't I!!!!!* and I have now listed everything and made a list of meals I can make of it -and even if we had meat/fish every main meal I would have enough for 72 days (plus leftovers) -now as we have 1 or 2 meat free meals a week it looks like I have enough of my main stuff to last at least 14 weeks  .... so Im planning an economy drive to start the new year and I WILL get that stuff used up.... I haven't even dealt with the dry/tinned store in the basement yet ..although if the snow stays as it is we will be grateful for that lot :D
Anyway -I can't believe Im sat here rattling on xmas day  -so i will get off for now.....
Have a good evening all -well if there is anyone else on here reading this :rotflmao:

Gooooooooood morning world :wavey:

eeeee bye eck its snowy here again -about another 8" has fallen overnight :smiley1842:-hubby is out clearing the paths and digging the car out ...not that she is going anywhere but its best to do it now before it gets any higher... tis above the bottom of the doors so far -and thats just in the last 2 days  -watch the snow plough come around once he is done and bank it back up again :giggle:
Anyway..... the breaking news issssssssssss:scale: 3lbs off for me this week :woohoo:.... It has to be the first time in living memory that I haven't gained at least 1/2st over the festive period :party0049:.... and I have to say hand on heart that I really haven't missed any of the obligatory festive "goodies" -although had I had any in the house I think it would have been a very different matter ;)

Well Im still feeling  so today will be red.... I will list what I think I will manage and I will add in the other stuff later,,,
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • banana
  • roast chicken
  • tickled cabbage
  • peppers
  • tickled beetroot
  • sf jelly with berries (0.5)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • Turkey steak
  • 198g potato (B) -wedged in :-
  • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
  • tickled cabbage/beetroot
  • sf jelly with berries (0.5)
  • fruit allowance...
  • whatever I can get down :p
So that will be 2A+1B and 1.5syns accounted for and I will see how I go before I decide to add to it .... I got up this morning to find that hubby has made me 3 sugar free raspberry jellies up with frozen strawberries/raspberries/blueberries in as he thought it would be nice for my throat :0chacha:so I will be using that to numb things later ..Right I will get off and leave you all in peace -for now :sign0151: -hope you are all having a lovely break,,,,,

:woohoo:That is a fabulous loss :woohoo:
You should be very proud of yourself for what you have achieved so far. You might even get 100 lbs for New Year - now that would be a fantastic start to 2011:D:D
Many congratulations on all your hard work. Enjoy the rest of your Christmas!

WOW. I love your diary.

I loved your OH's presents for you. That is just a fantastic present and a fitting tribute to your hard work on this plan so far. I hope you feel a million dollars in the new clothes.

And I am just SOOOOOO impressed by sticking to plan and losing weight over christmas. What an inspiration to people here.

Congratulations and hope you have a good week this week.

Gail x

Good evening all
Hope we are all still off having a lovely time :D...

JJ -nice of you to come and see me :D... hope you are having a nice relaxing break, ooohh thankyou -I didn't realise I was that close to my 100lb until you mentioned it..now THAT would be a nice start to 2011 :cross:... have a lovely xmas/new year and hope to see you back and posting soon ;)
Hi Gail.... I have just been and nosied on your diary too :p. Hubby is a little diamond..he was all excited when I was unwrapping my pressie as he -and I quote:- "knew they had to be right" and he was even happier that he hadn't had to spend an age trawling around trying to find the right thing .. Most of the stuff fits (or should that be -I can get in them :giggle:) -but will all look better with some more wobble gone ;) -still with the weather as it is I have plenty of time before its warm enough for any of them :happy036:

Anyway ladies -it is snowing AGAIN ..I swear its only because I was planning to wrap up tomorrow abd get out for a walk.. so it had better stop by the time I get out of bed :vibes:
Once hubby is back at work -the 4th Jan -please chase me up if you see no mention of me getting my lazy backside to the gym :whip: I really need to get back into going and get on with some toning up...
I have decided that I want to get on an economy drive this year -so my first plan is to get plenty of my stockpile of food used up... so I have meal planned and I WILL WILL WILL stick to it.... so hopefully the first couple of months should be fairly cheap -especially if I can keep my fruit consumption in check
Anyway -that is enough :blahblah::blahblah::blahblah: from me for now.. sleep well everyone and keep at it!!

Hey Capricorn! Well done on your loss, sorry you're feeling poorly, feel better! Ooooh, lucky you getting your wishlist! Hope you had a lovely Christmas.

:wavey:Hi Capricorn! Congrats on losing 3 lbs!!! I bet you never thought last Christmas that you would have lost this much weight by now!

I haven't dared go anywhere near the scales. I've fallen totally off the wagon, but compared to what I've eaten in previous years, I've hardly eaten anything really! :D

I also have the dreaded lurgy - started off with a cold and now have a delightful cough! So I haven't done much apart from sit in front of the tv the past few days. I'll probably go down my mum's later and sit in front of her tv!!

Anyway, take care and you'd better get on with clearing out your food store ready for when you come back to the UK!!! ;)

Bye for now, take care, lots of love, Trace xxx

Well done on your loss Capricorn you must be so pleased!

Yay, well done Capricorn. I will find out my fate tomorrow. And though I wasn't intending to be bad over Christmas, I wasn't planning on just feeling so ill that I didn't want to eat! Oh well. I'm hoping to get some appetite back soon.

Good afternoon all-reporting for duty ..all be it a little late :p
Well "whoop whoop" I got out for a walk earlier :happy036: -1hr15mins of trudging through the snow..it was lovely and really blew the cobwebs away :bliss:.... Im feeling a bit better -still a bit like my head is full of itching powder, but I should be rid of it soon,,,, and hubby is going to warn the germ ridden flea bag that gave it him in the first place that his wifey will take 2 bricks to his nether regions if he does it again :sign0151:
Christiana.... hope you have had a good xmas ,,,
Trace -I have been sat on the sofa... well reclined with a blanky and a cuppa for far too many hours too - you can share my hankies if you like ... thats it -tootle down to use your mums TV -hope she hands out lots of tea n sympathy ;)..... not that there is anything on worth watching :sigh:
Thanks Sarah -I am chuffed to lose over xmas,,,, I usually eat my body weight in xmas pud n cake :giggle:
JimOfTroy -what a bunch we are ... everyone seems to be down with something.... I can't remember the last time I caught a bug of any kind ..had to be xmas didn't it ..mind, at least we were planning a nice quite one anyway :D. I will keep my pinkies crossed for your weigh in tomorrow... lets hope the scales are kind :cross:

Well Im having a red day -again..and it looks like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1 apple
  • leftover roast chicken
  • leeks
  • spring onions
  • 28g peas (1)
  • 28g corn (1.5)
  • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
  • sf jelly and berries (0.5)
  • 1/2 activia (1.25)
  • salmon fillet
  • asparagus
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • 250ml semi (6)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • sf jelly n berries (0.5)
  • 1/2 activia (1.25)
  • fruit allowance:-
  • 2 apples
  • 4 clementines
so that covers 2A+1B and 12 syns..so i will decide what to do with the other B later ;)

Lunch was gorgeous -I was going to go green and do my easy cheesy pasta -but as I fancied salmon tonight I swapped the pasta for the leftover roast chicken,,, so I just zapped the leek/spring onions in the micro -threw in the peas corn and chicken and zapped -drained and then crumbled in the cheese and some seasoning and let stand for a few mins whilst I tidied up -was scrummy...

I have got off to a good start on my "non wasting, use it up economy drive" -I have the chicken carcass on the stove making stock right now, then later I will strain it and turn it into soup - I have a cauli thats looking a little sad and there will be the tougher ends from the asparagus etc.. so technically I will have a few lunches worth of soup from nowt :D
Hubby fancies pizza tonight -so I have my baguette dough proving and I will make him a 12" pizza for tonight and the rest of the dough I may turn into a couple of calzone for the freezer for a quick lunch for him,,,,
right I had better get off and get some more planning done ... have a lovely day everyone and keep at it...
Hope everyone feels better soon :p

Good evening one and all :D

Well I got the soup made .... so I now have a 1 litre icecream tub full in the fridge -so that will make 2 or 3 quick and free lunches for me this week, Hubby :17729: the pizza I made him and the calzone is in the freezer for now, Im hoping that it will re-heat well in the remoska as hubby has one of the spare ones at work for warming up his lunches so it would mean I could make him those every so often for something different -plus it would use some of the masses of bread/plain flour I have ;)
I have decided that as long as the weather isn't awful tomorow I will be going for a trudge to the supermarket -mainly for a breath of fresh air again -and I can pick up the very few bits I need whilst Im at it :D ...hubby will more than likely go with me -even though he thinks Im bonkers :p

Some of you might have seen my post the other day about "my xmas present to myself" -but just in case .. I have finally decided that I am going to register to do a "women for women" charity trek through Nepal :party0049:(its run by the Genesis research trust that specialise in womens health -babies, reproduction, womens cancers etc)... I have pondered about doing one before but I wasn't sure if I would be able to stick with the weight loss and get fit enough...well Im on the home straight now and well, what has made me finally decide to do it? well I was in the bath the other day .. my birthday and I was reading the new SW mag and there were 3 challeneges -2 on bikes and 1 trekking (which has to be much kinder on the nether regions:giggle:) anyway the trekking one is over a 10 day period that covers my mum and sisters birthday,,, well mum had breast cancer last year and it is the sisters birthday who we lost to ovarian cancer a couple of years ago... so I feel it was :airquote:meant to be :airquote:. So I have e-mailed them as that challenge isn't on the website yet, they have forwarded me the general details and it should be listed in the new year. So I will then be paying my £250 registration fee -well hubby is treating me to it :0chacha: and then I need to set about coming up with ideas to raise £3300 -so I will be grilling you all for your brainwaves ;)
The challenge isn't until September 2012 - which is ideal as it gives me plenty of time to shift the rest of the wobble and get fit AND to raise the funds :cross:...
It gives me 80 weeks to the date the money needs to be in by -so I have something to aim for.
Also I have to say that Im seeing this as a reward to myself for getting to target (when I get there :p)... A chance to trek through Nepal and see all the sights really appeals to me -so if THAT doesn't keep me on track -nothing will.....

Right I will get of again for now..Im off to watch "1 night with Bon Jovi" on BFBS :bliss:
Sleep well all and keep up the great work!!

Good morning all and ecky thump is it a cold one :winter_brr:

Well my cold seems to be shifting a little -hopefully it will be gone soon :cross:...

I have decided today will be another red one... and should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1 apple
  • home made soup
  • 3 ryvita (B)
  • cheese triangle (2)
  • sf jelly (0.5)
  • 1/2 activia (1.25)
  • liver casserole (onions, carrots) (0.5)
  • hm yorkshire pud (5)
  • cabbage
  • nobbies
  • sf jelly (0.5)
  • 1/2 activia (1.25)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fruit allowance:-
  • 2 apples
  • 6 clementines
Right -so that comes to -2A+Bs and 11 syns....
Im trying to muster the energy to have a wander out as planned -but I can't decide if its going to be slippy  -hmmm will go and have a look :p -and if I don't make it out I will have to get the wii out ;)
Right I will get off -have a great day everyone and keep safe n warm

Good morning all

Another cold day here :winter_brr:- we need to nip out in a moment.. we need more sparkling water, milk, eggs and fruit and a bit of veg..and THAT should be THAT for the next week or so :cross:... See - Im being frugal with the food budget :angel09:... well its a start ;)
So then Im having a red day again and it should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • salmon fillet
  • tickled cabbage
  • tickled onions
  • tickled beetroot
  • peppers
  • tomatoes
  • sf jelly + berries (0.5)
  • lamb hot pot (B)
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • sf jelly n berries (0.5)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fibre plus bar (B)
  • activia (2.5)
  • fruit allowance:-
  • to be decided when I see what is available in the supermarket :p
So then that will be 2A+Bs and 3.5 syns ..and I will try and get some more syns used up as I go..
Well last night I was a "little" naughty.... I ordered:-
  • ea sports active II
  • a platform to raise the board for doing step
  • biggest loser game
  • and a set of 1kg dumbell jobbies that your wii remotes go in
Now then...in my defence I was going to get the EA sports set when it came out in November but I waited and it has dropped quite a bit in price ..that is MY excuse and Im sticking to it
Right I had better get off and get ready to nip out... no doubt I will be back later :p
Have a lovely day eveyone and keep up the great work....
