Back again, heavier than ever!

I'm starting a diary to try and keep me accountable. I haven't told anyone in real life that I'm starting on Exante again. I had a lot of success with it in 2012 but I'm now at my heaviest ever. The number on the scales this morning is one that I never want to see again!!

I'm going for the Total Solution - I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to cope with all the work functions I've got in the coming weeks, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I've had a reasonable start today - chocolate mint shake, 30 minute gym session and am 1.5l down already.

Good luck.x

Hi all 👋 I have just joined MiniMins today after stumbling across the forums when looking up more information on the Exante plans. I am a total novice and I have no idea how forums work (I am just winging it atm :) so if I am posting in the wrong place, apologies!) Today I started the Exante Total Solution plan and so far so good.
Good luck and well done to everyone 😊

Hello all and thanks so much for the warm welcome.
I’m calling today a success:
B - chocolate mint shake
L - lemon yoghurt bar
D - strawberry shake
Water - 3l
Steps - 11,986

Cooking my daughter’s dinner was a real challenge and when my husband sat down for dinner I went off upstairs to read a book. Bit antisocial but never mind!

How was your first day PollyPeanut?

Best of luck tomorrow for your restart Safia.

Darcy and COB - your weight losses are really inspiring. Are you finding TS relatively easy to stick to?

Well done you! 😊
I have felt ok which surprised me tbh so I'm a happy bunny tonight.
B - Slender Sip (I won't be having one again before breakfast, it was too much)
Black Beanie coconut coffee (lovely) and a
Banana shake
L - White chocolate and raspberry bar
D - Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato soup
Water - 3lts
and I have just had a green tea.
I will use the Slender Sips again but before lunch as I started to feel hungry late afternoon. I guess it's trial and error first do way but finding this forum I know is going to be a Godsend, so much support and inspiration on here just reading through other peoples experience and advice/tips gives me a lift.
Pleased you had a good first day too! 😊

Well I just about survived day 2 by the skin of my teeth! I had a breakfast work function as well as an evening function which was hard. I’ve got a banging headache but am heading to bed now.

B - lemon cheesecake shake
L - toffee and raisin bar
D - berries and cherries shake
2.5l water plus lots of coffee and green tea
10,356 steps

Haven’t managed a potter round the gym sadly. Maybe tomorrow depending on work.

Hope everyone else has had good days!

Kate xx

Another day done. Found today really, really hard. Stomach very loud and grumbly which is embarrassing in meetings!

B - strawberry shake
L - chocolate orange bar
D - chocolate mint shake
Steps - 11,329
Water - 2.75l

I also had a cup of Marigold stock which was good and helped with the “savoury” cravings.

I ordered a few different flavour shakes and bars from Exante today and added some Slender Sip.....fingers crossed it helps!

At a conference all day tomorrow - not figured out quite how I’m going to navigate it food wise either. Hope I don’t drown out the speakers with my noisy tummy! 🤣😱

So I’ve been reflecting on some mini targets I’d like to achieve:

1) Get out of the 15’s
2) Have family notice a difference in me at our next gathering on Easter weekend
3) Get out of the 14’s
4) Feel confident at an important work conference in mid-May
5) Have friends notice a difference at a black-tie event we’re going to in June
6) Get out of the 13’s

I think that’s enough for now! Will add more as we go xx

Good day today - think I might be in ketosis this evening. Have ordered some Ketosticks to come tomorrow and will test.

Managed a gentle gym session today and lots of walking as I got off the tube a stop early from my conference to get my steps in.

B - lemon cheesecake shake
L - lemon yoghurt bar
D - cherries and berries shake
Water - 3l
Steps - 15,494

Hope everyone else has had good days too xx

I've thought of another mini goal. I have a beautiful navy Whistles dress that I would like to get back into. The last time I wore it, I was about 90kg. I've dug it out f my wardrobe and hung it on the outside, where I can see it. I'm hoping it will inspire me to keep going during the tough times!

I've also got the same dress but in a different colour, and smaller size. Looking back at My Fitness Pal, I must have been around 87kg. I'll stick that one on the outside of the wardrobe for inspiration once I can get into the blue one :)

Survived day 5. Definitely in ketosis as I tested with the Ketosticks that arrived today.

B - lemon cheesecake shake
L - toffee and raisin bar
D - chcolate mint shake
Water - 2.5l
Steps - 12,407

Another gentle gym session done. Onwards and downwards!

A challenging weekend with lots of socialising but generally managed to stay on plan.

Gym session on Saturday but lazy day yesterday where I didn’t complete my 10,000 steps.

Pleased with weigh in this morning which shows as 2.5kg down. I think that puts me just a couple of ounces under the 15 stone mark which is great - first goal achieved!
