Brush your teeth more often, sip water often, use mouth wash & mouth spray & if you can find them, use the listerine mouth strips.
Some people use gum, however, a word of caution, chewing gum can make you feel empty & hungry as your body thinks you are chewing food, it is acceptable tho to use the gum to 'freshen up' your mouth and then discard it - rather than chewing it to death!!
Mine is horrible too My DH keeps making comments about it!! I have got some listerine strips so they're helping a bit! I also clean my teeth more often!

As previous posters have said, you can use mouth spray or mouth wash..
i found I had it for the first week or so .. and I sprayed a few times a day now I never use it..
It does pass .. Promise... x
