Bad CDC's ---- why do you stay?

After reading a number of posts on here about CDC's not having scales, being overweight, not giving books etc one thing stays the same - People don't want to change CDC's.

I find this quite interesting. I love my CDC and will never change, no matter what.

I think people feel that they have had so much success on the diet that they do not want it to be taken away! whatever the cost, and they are scared of change.

Interesting those clients who had the CDC who did not have any scales changed. Has anyone out there changed CDC's, if so what made you change?

This is only my first week but after meeting my original CDC I decided to change as she wanted to charge me £40 per week and she wasnt very friendly. So today Im off to see the new one who sounds lovely on the phone and who has been on constant email support for my first week, oh and she only charges £32.55 per week

Lovin it !!! :)
I changed too - did cd for a while last year with a cdc, who although was a really lovely bloke - and his wife too - they didnt give me support in terms of when I went and had struggled and eaten - thus having a gain or very small loss - they just said oh its ok you are only human etc - and while I realise it isnt easy to be 100% all the time, I am the kind of person who needs discipline, I believe rules are there for a reason and if they are broken then there should be guidance to help - i know this sounds like school playground stuff, but its not easy to follow cd or LL sometimes and when you do go wrong, sometimes you need that slap on the hand to push you into the right direction. Anyway, what I am trying to say is if you feel like a cdc doesn't care enough to support in between visits etc then maybe you won't trust them that they have your best interests at heart and would maybe be a reason to change.
