For a quick breakfast I whizzed up a banana with a splash of milk and thought that would be free / he a..... but just spotted that pureed fruit has to be synned?? So was my yummy smoothie more like 5 syns :-(
Yep - afraid so! Technically you are supposed to syn the fruit because it is easier to overconsume blended fruit than that in its natural state, and because it does not fill you up for as long when blended. Some people are happy to carry on calling it free where, like you, they have only used one piece of fruit that they might have eated whole anyway. I suppose it depends how rigidly you want to stick to the plan.
