Bananas/apple and cinnamon

I've been reading up about the benefits of cinnamon.

"Research shows that a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, eaten with food, helps metabolize sugars more effectively and lower the body's blood sugar levels. This is helpful because high blood sugar levels and excess in the blood can lead to fat storage."

Okay. I'm cynical as always, but I love the taste of cinnamon, and since it's supposed to have lots of other health benefits, I'll go for it:)

Try this if you aren't VLCDing and your diet will allow.

Mash a banana, sprinkle on a little sugar (or sugar substitute if you prefer), then some cinnamon. I used about 1/2 teaspoon.

Put in microwave for about 1 minute.


I thought it made a lovely pudding :)

Have done the same with sliced apple. Equally as good.

So simple.
