Hi folks I did a search on this but couldn't find anything so hope I'm justified in a new thread!I use a lot of BBQ chicken using BBQ seasoning I buy dry in packets. I can't find a syn value!I prob use less than a tea spoons worth each meal. Any advice would be great!

Is it a packet mix? If so look for any oils etc that may have been added. If its just different herbs and spices I would say its free.
Maybe you could list the ingredients on here?
I know the 'shots' mixes are free, but then the bags better, maggi etc are not.

Thanks for replying!each pack is 30g n prob gets split at least 4-5 meals. Ingredients are
sugar
salt
tomato powder
Flavouring
modified maize starch
paprika
black pepper
garlic powder
Onion powder
vegetable fat
citric acid.
Hope this helps!it does have the values per 1/3 packet but I don't even use that much!x

What are the nutritional values it gives per 1/3 pack and how big is the pack and we can work it out?

As its top ingredient is sugar its def gonna have syns! But if you hardly use any it probably wont be much.

I also worried wi sugar being first!
Here it is

Per 10g/ 1/3 sachet
Energy 32kcal
Protein 0.4g
Carb 6.7
Of which sugars 5.2
Fat 0.3
Of which saturates 0.1
Fibre 0.2
Sodium 0.70

Can someone check on syns calculator online?
I can't access as not going to paid groups so can't access online :(

Thank u xx

stuff like this has no free food allowance, so you can work out yourself, by applying one syn to every 20 calories.

this will therefore be 1.5 syns per 1/3 of a packet, going by the nutritional information above.

So if I say prob one syn per serving then as I don't use 1/3 pack!thanks I never get how sw work out their syns n read once they dont go on calories so thank u!
