  1. Basically I've let myself go and want to change things. Just wondered what everyone's beauty regimes were or tips and tricks people use. Thanks in advance xx

I find liz Earle stuff great, but to be honest I think it is using the muslin cloths that makes the biggest difference, think they gently exfoliate or something. I also use a body shop microdermabrasion scrub about once a week, I need it in winter as my skin gets very dry.

I suppose it depends on a few things - how old you are, what type of skin you have and what's your routine now?
  5. I have no routine whatsoever I'm the mum at school that scrapes her hair back on a ponytail everyday it the trademark black pants haha. I'm prone to the odd bit if dry skin too but I know I'm not drinking enough when that happens x
  6. Superdrug is very good value. I use their Naturally Radiant range and it is excellent. The Radiance Balm is brilliant. And there is always some sort of offer on.

The B range is good too - especially the micellar cleansing water.

I hate Superdrug shops - very noisy and untidy and not very helpful (in fact in my local branch they are downright rude! - but I am prepared to put up with it as the products are so good.

I love superdrug! Mostly because they don't test on animals but love their radiance stuff, also their vitamin B moisturisers are better than any I've tried :)

Shame their conditioners aren't great, that's the only non animal thing in struggling with (oh and hair dye)

I'm don't wear make up very often and if you don't either build up slowly to protect your skin, I usually get a foundation and mix it with moisturiser to help with dry skin x

I have really teenage skin. Not good at nearly 32. I swear by body shops tea tree range. I also use some Lush products but it's mostly body shop. I don't really use foundation preferring a Bb Cream or tinted moisturiser. I recently discovered Avon anew bb cream. Its pricy but very very good and has a SPF of 25 too so that's a bonus.

Cruelty-free hair dyes I recommend Naturtint - they don't last quite as long as the regular hair-dyes that test on animals but if you have relatively short hair then one box will last 2 times but I find the red colours just fade too much for me to continue using. Superdrug do have some vegan-friendly actual hair dyes but will only be marked vegetarian because of the lanolin in the conditioner, I buy them and replace the conditioner as it's still better than using Loreal, Garnier etc.

OP - have you thought of trying a BB cream? I use Ingrid cosmetics BB cream (eBay) and it's really lovely, a light tinted foundation with added moisturiser and glides on :) I have to be careful with my skin as I still have some acne and teenage skin but this is a really nice product
