Becca's food diary 2012!!

Hi all, I have decided to do a food diary from today so I have a record of it and also to get any hints and tips! I go to a weekly weigh in every Friday and have even started buying a 6 week countdown to keep me going! I got weighed on Friday and I had gained 2.5lb in the week between Christmas and new year despite only going off plan once, I sat and cried for a while as I had stuck to it 99% of the week and then binged which was not the best thing but think I got it out of my system ready to start again today! I have about 7 stone to loose and aim not to give up this time! One of the main struggles for me is having healthy extra A as don't drink much tea and only eat cheese with meals like spaghetti bolognaise.

Day 1 - Sunday 1st January EE plan
Worked between 12:30-4

Breakfast -
Bacon
Fried egg
Beans
Mushrooms
4 Sausages - 2 syns

Snacks -
2 peppers
2 celery sticks
1 carrot
1 banana
1 apple
Grapes

Lunch/tea -
Roast pork
Boiled potatoes
Cabbage
Carrots
Green beans
Pork crackling - 25g 7 syns
Gravy - 1.5 syns
Sugar free jelly - 0.5 syns

Healthy extras -
A -
B - 2 alpen light bars

Drinks throughout the day -
Pepsi max
Sugar free juice
Water

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

Day 2 - Monday 2nd January
Worked between 11-7:30pm

Breakfast and lunch -
Pasta with bacon and mushrooms in a cheese sauce made with quark and one tbsp of pesto - 3 syns
Muller light
Sugar free jelly - 0.5 syns

Tea -
Slimming world Chilli with rice

Snacks -
2 peppers
2 celery sticks
1 carrot
1 apple
1 banana
Grapes

Healthy extras -
A -
B - 2 alpen light bars

Drinks throughout the day -
Water
Sugar free juice
Pepsi max

I didn't have time to worry about cooking breakfast while trying to sort out my lunch so made enough to do both meals :)

Official your supposed to have 1/3rd of superfree with your meals but seen as you eating so much superfree as snacks im sure its not a problem. :D
 
I have to eat them In-between as I'm not good at incorporating it into all meals! Lol I do eat enough of them though!

Day 3 - Tuesday 3rd January
Worked between 11-7:30

Lunch -
Chilli with rice
Raspberries and strawberries mixed with a muller light and sugar free jelly - 0.5 syn

Snacks -
2 peppers
2 celery
Carrot
Grapes
Banana

Tea -
Pasta shapes in tomato sauce
Chicken noodle pot 1 syn (can't remember exact name so will check tomorrow but I no syns are right as I remember standing in sainsburys checking them lol)

Healthy extras -
A -
B - 2 alpen light bars

Treats -
Space raiders (25g) 6 syns
Cadbury fudge 5.5 syns

Drinks -
Sugar free juice
Water
7up free

Had to have treats today as was craving chocolate, really enjoyed it even though I originally went into the shop for a curly wurly :)

Day 4 - Wednesday 4th January
Worked between 11-7:30

Chilli and rice
Raspberries, strawberries, mullerlight yoghurt and Sugar free jelly all mixed together - 0.5syns

Tea -
Pasta with slimming world chicken casserole
Sugar free jelly - 0.5syns

2 peppers
2 celery
Carrot
Banana
Apple

Healthy extras -
A - 250ml semi skimmed milk
B - 2 alpen light bars

Drinks -
Pepsi max
7up free
Sugar free juice
Water


Not feeling very well today so not really enjoyed my food but made sure I ate it anyway, I really want a good weight loss on Friday!

Yr diary looks good to me!! :)

As a suggestion for hex a - baby bell lights or laughing cows and dip yr carrots in them? Like I dip? Not as nice obviously! Lol.

I have just discovered baby bell and apple at the same time :) yummy!! Or I think so anyway.

Looking forward to Reading about yr loss on Friday! Xx
 
Thank you for those suggestions, I never thought to use darilea as dips! Gonna try some of those tomorrow as I no we have some in the fridge :)

Also will buy babybels when I go to supermarket, can see dads shopping bill being high again this week lol

Day 5 - Thursday 5th January

Pasta with quark, 4 dairylea light triangles (sauce didnt turn out quite how i wanted so needed something to thicken it up lol) bacon, mushrooms and pesto - 3syns

Heinz pasta shapes
Chicken pasta pot shot - 1syn

Snacks -
2 peppers
3 celery
Carrot
Apple
Cherries

Healthy extras -

Pepsi max
Diet coke

Had a good today even though I could have sat and eaten a full bar of chocolate (the big ones). Weigh day tomorrow so will post how I have done, hoping for a good loss!

Hi,

I'm back after a weekend with a friend where I wasn't perfect but hopefully made some good choices. Haven't kept a record of the weekend as was too busy.

Day 8 - Sunday 8th January
Worked between 12:30-9pm

Vegetable soup
Mullerlight Yoghurt
Sugar free jelly - 0.5syns

Tea -
Was meant to be pasta with ham and mushrooms with quark and pesto sauce but had one mouthful and binned it all, was disgusting so had alphabetti spaghetti instead ;(

Healthy extras -
A - 3 babybel lights
B - 2 alpen light bars

Drinks -
Pepsi max
Water
Sugar free juice

Treats -
French fries - 4syns
Toblerone - 25g for 6.5syns

Back on track now so hopefully a good loss again on Friday

Didn't have time to make breakfast this morning so just had a bowl of what I had for lunch.

Coffee (with HE milk)

Think I may have a curly wurly too as feel like I need a chocolate fix so 6syns for that too.
