I thought i'd share a discovery/invention. Costs around £2 to make them!!!
If your like me and try to be penny pinching as possible and want good burgers this is a good way to make it stretch so to speak. To make 6 burgers you will need:
250g Lean Minced beef ( or turkey/chicken what ever is free)
Half a tin of red kidney beans
Half an onion
Half a pepper de-seeded
Spices/tabasco/BBQ (what ever takes ur fancy to give it a kick)
Fry Light
1. Start by putting the kidney beans into a bowl and either pressing them with your fork or pulsing them with a blender some it becomes a smooth paste
2. Finely chop pepper and onion and add that and the rest of your ingredients to the bowl
3. Get your hands in there and form burger patties. I got around 6 standard burgers but obviously make them small or larger. Rule of thumb 2 of my sized patties can be free on extra easy, and be Healthy B on green (as its only 75g meat) or Healthy B on Red (as the kidney beans count)
