Been to see my GP

Had to see my GP today re medication for my RA.

I haven't seen my GP for nearly three months - the last time I saw him I had lost 4 stones, I have now lost 7 stones.

I knocked on the door and went in.

He looked me up and down, then looked me up and down again - then raised his eyebrows and said " wow, how much weight have you lost?"

So I told him and he was stunned! He did sign my Cambridge form, mind you but had obviously forgotten about it.

He wanted to know what I eat, etc.
Said some of his patients said it was expensive so I told him I pay £36 per week which I think is a fair price.

His face was a picture, though!!!

I have been giggling about this all night long!

I love my GP - he is a couple of years younger than me - but I can argue with him when necessary!!

I can hardly wait for the next visit - two/three months time!!

I wasn't really sure whether he would actually notice!

When all is said and done they are busy people who see a lot of folks in a day.

I was prepared for him not to make any comment - I would have pointed the fact out to him if that had happened!
