I utterly not with it, no excuses .On a brighter note, in 10 days I am off and I am looking forward to looking at the clouds above England. There is something so satisfying about getting away from London on a regular basis.

Where is my weight loss Buddy?

J:wave_cry:kes aside I need a real life weight loss/healthy life style buddy, someone who looks deeper than the product or the calorie/carb count to their issues. Real life or email.

So if you read my diary ( or don't ) and I sound interesting and we have over laps , send me a memo:cool:.

emails, phone calls , meet ups if its practical?

I just unsubscribed from a diet newsletter I have enjoyed seeing in my inbox. I simply couldn't read it anymore . I felt I would be locking myself into a circularity of good talk about 'eating and dieting'. what i want coming into my inbox are newsletters about health fitness, raw food, juicing and organic eating . I felt that I was drawing a line under something .

My weight has plateaued, back to my old set point and perhaps a little lower. So no need to record it . But it did trouble me that I found myself not wanting to post.

I must at admit there are dairies I read and enjoy..those were the writer is more introspective and I miss their voice when they stop, but life happens and there are always reasons.

But the more I post the more I admit the value of the fleshy companion. On holiday, second day I'll be joining the gym and that will be great, its about 3 blocks from where I live and it opens at 5 am .


Also I am not going to 'work at' anything while I am there

4 weeks , gym , find a Buddhist center , sleep go to the art museums, sleep some more. Simple.

I feel so stiff and a bit grumpy...himself has found a whizzbang new trainer and today is the day I was meant to fly out:cry:.Maybe its time to switch from BA altogether , but I hate having to change flights in Chicago.

oh well life happens , time to get on with stuff.

keep in keeping on.At least I am getting up early again.

Maybe I am not grumpy, perhaps I am simply mellowed out and stiff? And not drinking enough water.:sigh:

At work. I took a few lax last night, nothing heavy aand thankfully this morning I was able to start again or continue without that bunged up bloated feeling, which is always so uncomfortable.

so lots of water and keeping busy
 
Persistance pays off....I have found a weight loss group that meets for 12 weeks ...no specific diet required and prizes for the biggest loser..now I have to make sure I get a place on it .And its not that expensive..but its all the way in fullham ..not too far really;)
 
A touching story about losing weightprogram :cry:. I know it is miserable to take a diet program, but don't let this fact discourage you.


Dear Rufina, thank you for your kind words, I have been feeling down, so I am hopping this group will be the boost I need, sometime diets suck, :wave_cry: but its not forever and I won't be discouraged.;)

I have just spoken to the guy who runs the group in fulham, it would appear that there is no 'catch' just £35 for the 12 weeks, meeting 1 hour 6-7 on wednesdays talking on various topics.They do sell some weight loss products but no one needs to buy them or use them, you an do what ever programme you want.


so I am happy.

another thing in london on sunday for free is a 4 hour talk by Peter pure on health vitality and nutrition, more on that tomorrow
