New to this been a wee while since i did sw what plan do you follow i am thinking about doing green would love some help menu ways from greenies i am planning to start wed going to do some shopping tomorrow so any ideas would be most welcome thanks :D

There's a few of my favourite green recipes in the link in my signature.

Some of my fave main meals are...

Home made soups
Lentil shepherds pie
Lentil & veg casserole
Quorn meatball bolognaise & pasta
Frittata
Roast potatoes (with HExB extra virgin olive oil) and carrot & swede, broc&cauli, sprouts and gravy
Quorn burger, cheese slice & ketchup on wholemeal bap with SW chips and salad
Quorn curry & basmati rice
SW Chips, quorn bacon, peas, tomatoes and poached egg
Baby potatoes, salad, boiled egg, cheese, beetroot etc...

For lunches I normally have something on toast...beans or poached eggs.
Wholemeal pittas (from Asda) are HExB, they're nice with melted cheese in with beans or quorn and salad.
For something quick there are mugshots and cup a pasta's, most of which are free.

Fruit of course...love strawberries, grapes, pears, apples etc...chopped up with an activia yogurt over the top.

You should have a nose around the recipes forum for some ideas or maybe nose through some food diaries to see what other people are eating.

I find Green really good as there's lots of choice, especially as a lot of Quorn products are free too.

Shopping staples would be:

Frylight
Low fat spread (flora light etc..)
400g wholemeal loaf
Wholemeal pitta
Fresh fruit and veg
Free yogurts
Low fat cheese
Skimmed or semi milk
Sweetener
Herbs and spices
