Want to be a yummy mummy!
Hi all.......im poking my head around the door because I am very sheepish and....have a slight confession......

Well, I had an excellent birthday weekend, it was fabulous, I had a complete break from Cambridge diet and am back on it today.

I stupidly weighed myself last night after a big indian meal and lots to drink....i had put on 9lbs!! Silly eh, it was a silly time to weigh myself really.

I am not worried though as i am back on it today and this morning the scales say different.

Feeling a bit hungry but havent been out for bottled water today so havent drank any - am so tempted by the taramaslata left in the fridge but am being strong - musn't crack!

Anyway just thought i would vent - it was worth it as i really really enjoyed myself.

Hi Unreal

Glad you had a good birthday you're only 23 once afterall! The scales will soon be back down just as long as you get back on track.

The water is probably more important than ever now so get some down and keep posting if you find it difficult today.

Dizzy x

Hi Im glad you had anice time BUT remember its only 8 weeks till christmas and it will soon fly past :)
Try and SS all the way??
Good luck
xxc

I am glad you had a great birthday! I went out on Sat night and was all due to have the chicken salad but I had a mixed grill instead. I didn't eat any carbs so I am still in ketosis but I am a bit annoyed that I picked at my daughters kebab meat last night grrrr - but again, I am still in ketosis so not worrying about it too much!!

Thanks guys! I had a wonderful birthday weekend - and am not worried about the weight to be honest. I was going to start again today but ended up going shopping and decided to start tomorrow afresh when i am at work and i can dedicate my day to CD - i couldnt really concentrate on it today.

I am going to soul source all the way to christmas i think - but i only need to lose about half a stone more (when i get that 9lbs off!) so i dont think i need to.

What about if i do sole source during the week and not at weekends? by that i mean eat protein at weekends and also have a few vodkas.

Im a bit confused as to what maintenance to do, as now i have this new figure i want to go out socialising and find it hard to not drink, its so boring! I dont want to go crazy though - i can do without eating during the week.

How would that work do you think?

x

No way should you do SS for just 9 lbs. I'm on 790 and still lost 4lbs last week. Work your way up through the stages and spend a couple of weeks on each one. Don't think you're technically supposed to introduce alcohol though until 1500?? I have managed to steer clear of booze but I will be drinking for the first time in 14 weeks next weekend!!

Oh Jubbly that burger looks to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm I know........I just want to shift it quick thats all, the first day back on it is so hard!!!!!

Oooh what do you plan to have Jubbly? I did it in style on Friday with a cosmopolitan!

Haha, everyone loves the burger!! I'm so mean I know.

I know this is boring miss sensible talking here but I'm learning that there is no point in being impatient as we have to learn to eat differently to how we used to. So as much as we want to SS to get rid of those few lbs, SSing is just one stage of this diet 'journey' and we may as well use a higher programme as we will have to learn about healthy eating at some point. Plus as Icemoose told me, if you SS and get to target then you will still be losing when you go through the AAM-790-100-1200-1500 steps (which really is quite a long process if you spend a couple of weeks on each) and you will get too thin (can we ever be too thin I ask myself??!!). Hope that makes sense.

Having said that I am planning to drink myself silly with red wine next week. CDC advised against beer, white wine or alcopops. She didn't mention cocktails however....

Hi unreal

that was very brave of u to eat drink and be merry on your birthday..it was my birthday on sunday and as much as i was tempted to have a big slap up meal and some wine i resisted the urge and had a mouthful of chicken instead...how boring of me...i hope to be making up for it at xmas tho!!

:)
