    Good Evening guys and girls!

    How is everyone today?

Well I have had a lot of thoughts and feelings about the diet today and thought I'd come and share and see if anyone else has had the same experiences.

Ok, firstly, today has been the first day when, rather than looking toward mini goals, I have not been able to take my mind of the end goal and it's really depressed me. I wil drive myself insane if I think about having another 5 stone to lose! Does anyone else sometimes just think about how far you have to go and think 'Oh my god!'? If so, how do you combat those feelings?

Secondly, today I have noticed my body looks different and it's weird! For example, when I view myself in a mirror side on, my stomach is SO much flatter. Yet when I look down at my stomach, the bit above my waist looks really flat but my belly looks like a football! Then my boobs seems to look thinner and longer and my face seems to look more square at the bottom rather than round! Of course I see all this as a positive as it means my body is changing but it's so weird! Does anyone else feel this way? and what weird body changes have you had?

In fact I shall leave it there and post my other question elsewhere! xx

what you are describing is very similar to what i went through... i lost 12 stone in a year a couple of years ago and watching myself change was the weirdest thing in the world.... from noticing the obvious things like belly and stuff shrink it was the little strange things like looking at my arms and not recognising myself, even my wrists and ankles, suddenly would catch sight of a body part and the brain just doesnt immediatly recognise it as you... its the strangest feeling... and of course it always comes off the places you most it to last! LOL so you will probably be noticing certain areas gettin much smaller and then thinking OK thats enough off there, lets have some off from somewhere else now but hey your body dont do what you want it too! it always comes off my neck and face quite heavily while leaving my middle wobbly....

dont let it freak you out, enjoy it and embrace it.. its strange but wonderfull, and as you progress more it is quite addictive and fascinating!

the mini goals thing is such a good idea... stick to them.... the overall can be very daunting,,,
Im on a 3 mini goals a day basis at the moment!

I felt exactly the same. You have to stop thinking about how many weeks are ahead of you and how long its going to take. Just take each weigh in at a time and what helped me was thinking about just how quickly the weight is coming off compared to say SW or WW for example.

It is so wierd watching how my body is changing. First of all it started coming off my face, I actually have cheek bones! lol Then my stomach and love handles.

I have caught my reflection a few times in shop windows and had to do a double take - is that really me?

I now find myself with almost 4st gone liking what I see in the mirror. My legs are slimmer and the only belly I have is the bit that most mothers have after giving birth to three children.

The wierd thing for me is lying in bed and feeling my bones! I know that sounds crazy, but I used to have so much cushioning and now I can feel my hips and rib cage through my skin! lol

Still have another 1 1/2 - 2 st to go. Want to be a size 12 so now I can see things happening and feel happier with my body there is an end in sight.

You'll get there Bat, just take it a shake at a time and feel proud of yourself - you are changing your life and your health for the better.

If it helps measure yourself. I did this, then the weeks where I was a little disappointed with my losses I would measure myself to see how many inches have gone. I also noticed with the notches on my belt. Give it some time, but you will certainly feel the difference soon.

I struggle to get used to avin ribs Nd keep lookin at myself in the mirror- am sure I think I'm developing some sort or narcissism!
