BMI same as my age!!

BOOM! I have achieved my pre-wedding goal of losing 2st!

I did a sneaky weigh in this morning and I have lost exactly 2st in five weeks.

I’ve lost 10% of my body weight and gone down a dress size.

There are still seven days to go until I jet off to the sunshine so I will shed a few more pounds before the trip.

I am ever so slightly chuffed!

Well Done!! That's amazing! :)

Aww Kaysa, your lessons learned are very empowering, to remember and recognise all those feelings is a breakthrough in itself. Most of those situations I do not identify with but did get stuck in my nieces bath, my big hips spread out and got wedged into the narrowest bit. (In my defence it is quite a narrow bath).Although my starting weight is a lot less, it is all relative to our self esteem, our sense of self. You have got this, you have a lot of motivating factors to keep you strong.

Well done you!!!

Just caught up with your diary and you are doing so well.

Just a thought for you, if you are thinking of staying on meal replacement maybe consider a move to Exante, very similar to Cambridge but a fraction of the price as you order directly from the company with no consultant fees. I've done that, if I stuck to it I'm sure I would be at goal by now but I'm a yo yo dieter who gives up quite easily or at least I was!

Another alternative is Lighterlife products, you can do a fast which they suggest for 2 days a week, I only buy them when they are on sale in Superdrug through at £11.99 per day that is way too much.

Dxxx

Thank you Dolly Rocker. I’ve tried Exante before and am not keen on the food, but I’ve never tried Lighterlife so will keep an eye out for when they’re on offer. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank goodness - I’ve found another swimsuit to take on holiday. It actually looks quite nice on. So that’s my pool/beach wear sorted. I just need to figure out what to wear to the actual wedding...

Yesss oh amazing well done on the 2st loss, you should be so proud of yourself 😊
Thank you. Only one day until your weigh in now so I’ve got my fingers crossed that you’ll get a great result.

Another pound off today.

It was a risky strategy to weigh today. If I’d gone up a pound it would have cast a shadow over yesterday’s euphoria.

But I couldn’t resist so hopped on and thankfully the scales moved in the right direction.

I won’t weigh myself tomorrow though. I’ve got a night out planned and don’t want to risk a fluctuation making the scales go up and potentially affecting my confidence.

It’s silly really as it’s just a number. It’s completely wrong to link my feelings of self worth to a figure on a piece of electronic equipment.

But we are where we are, and I’ll try and stay off the scales until my official weigh in next Wednesday.

I’m really desperate to see my BMI drop below 40 now. It will feel like real progress.

We all do it.

I weigh every day and find it hard when the numbers go up at the same time I would feel worse if I didn't know!

Well done on your loss.

Keto breath: I love it and hate it in equal measures.

I love it because it’s a reminder that stuff is happening to shrink me. And it’s reassurance that I’m doing the right things.

I hate because bleurgh! It’s horrible to have the taste of nail varnish in my mouth 24/7.

Still, five more days and the keto breath will be gone!

Today is going to be a tricky day.

Unexpectedly, I’m taking the children out for a meal with a friend, so I’ll have to eat.

Then tonight I’m going on a girls’ night out. It turns out we’re going to a restaurant first. So I’ll have to eat.

Obviously I’ll make sensible choices but it’s still going to affect my final weigh in on Wednesday.

I don’t want to be a diet bore and say I’m trying to lose weight before holiday. So I’ll have to eat as little as possible without it looking like I am.

On the plus side, I’m feeling very svelte today. I pulled my jeans on this morning and they feel like a perfect fit. I also did a fake tan trial run last night before holiday, so my skin is looking less pasty today.

What a lovely day ahead have a lot of fun, you have been working so hard and deserve a treat! So I’ve just been weighed in lost 7lb since last weight in I’ll take that 😊
Almost Fayemous we’ll done on your loss! We’re neck and neck now. That’s a great result, you must be thrilled.

I won’t lie I was a little disappointed as it was a two week gap but I have to know things will slow now.
That’s still 3.5lb a week - a better loss than you’d get doing pretty much anything else. And you’ve lost more than 12% of your body - that’s a cracking achievement!

I’m doing a little happy dance this morning - because I’ve finally got my BMI under the 40 mark!!

That’s such a mega milestone for me.

I was VERY restrained at my meals out yesterday. I weighed in today to see what the damage was. And I’m actually 2lb down since I last weighed.

I’m already starting to get the keto breath back this morning (not as strong as normal after yesterday’s real food) so hopefully I managed to socialise without ruining my hard work.
