Boiled pasta

Hi all.
Would anyone be able to tell me the syn value of ordinary plain boiled pasta? I've always counted it as free but I read somewhere earlier that it contains 1/2 syn per 28g??

pasta is free, as long as it isn't fresh pasta. All dried plain varieties are free.

Dried pasta is free on EE & Green days
35g (dried) of wholemeal pasta is a HxB on a red day

uh oh I presumed all pasta was free
I have bought fresh tagliatelle (spelling??) was really looking forward to it

So it's free when it's dry.. Does it gain syns when boiled then? Apologies for sounding dim

no, as long as you are using dried pasta and cooking it in just water (not adding any oil) it is free.

only fresh and filled pasta has syns.

The pasta that you cook yourself (dried) in water is free. Fresh pasta ie the stuff that you dont have to boil usually has a syn allowance
