Books got me confused???

Okay reading the book thoroughly (finally) and getting confused. I know I'm allowed 20g of carbs per day. However on page 126 it tells me I can have 170g Salad and 80g Vegetables per day but then on page 229 it says 230g Salad and 200g Vegetables. Which is right I'm I missing something?

It doesn't mean the weight 20g of carbs it means the amount of carbs that comes from the veg etc. For example for around 100g of lettuce is usually around 0.4g of carbs. You need to check the packaging and see how many carbs are in the food you are preparing.
 
its the total Carbohydrates allowed per day. it does get easier i can look at foods and know whats in it LOL
 
I take it that's the new book then, the original didn't deal in weights only cup measures.
