bored of food

i just feel like i eat cos i have to and dont enjoy my food, not even chocolate :confused:

dont know if its because we are having to eat whats already in house rather than getting what i fancy eating but im looking forward to going shopping when we get payed on friday, im writing a shopping list and meal planning in an attept to go shopping once a week rather than nipping in tesco everyday, ive even leaving my purse at home so i cant go in any shops on the way back from school in a morn lol

That's not a good thing, I could never get bored of food - I love it!!

Make a list of the things you have in the house and go onto bbc good food website, you can enter ingredient items and it comes up with recipe suggestions. Just omit the oil and butter most of them call for and you should get some good ideas from there. Or tell us what you have in and see what we come up with?
Or have a look on the SW website for some more ideas.

I also try to plan meals for the week (at least evening meals) and shop accordingly as I was going to Tesco each day and spending a small fortune!

Oh my gosh, I wish I could say that I was bored of food, I wouldn't be posting on this forum now if I didn't enjoy eating.....

Maybe you are eating the same foods all the time, try something different, be adventurous with your foods and try something completely different to what you are used too.

Check the recipe thread out above and try making something different, try 'jazzing' the foods you do eat with, herbs, spices, flavourings etc.....

Dieting does tend to become boring at times, but you will soon get out of that especially as the scales start to drop in weight.

i plan a week at a time too so i know what to buy i also try and mix what i eat so im not eating the same week in week out,varied is the way to go

I plan a week ahead too. I make sure that I have the basics in like potatoes, eggs, cottage cheese, salad veg and fruit and then work around those.
Me and Hubby are budgeting to and you will be surprised what you can find. Try shopping at other places other than Tescos too (if you can), they actually arent as cheap as you would think!
