Bovril alternative?

Hi All!

I'm making my first official SW dish with chicken stock and it calls for chicken stock with Bovril. Bovril's not available locally. What's so special about it? Is it low-sodium? Low-fat? What should I look for in a chicken stock that will make it comparable to Bovril?

You could use oxo cubes instead they're free x

Hi, not sure if this is an older recipe? Bovril was previously the only "SYN FREE" stock and as such was included in most recipes, you can use any chicken stock now (unless it is for the KFC and the stickiness is required)

Gemm, we don't have Oxo Cubes here either. Is it similar to Knorr Chicken Bouillon? Sally, it is an older recipe. Good to know any chicken stock will do. Thanks for your help!
