branston chick peas in sauce? anyone tried?

curry chickpeas are so easy to make from scratch and so cheap if you buy a big dried bag,soak overnight then boil, freeze them in bag/portions , for the curry sauce just use garlic tomatoe puree spices and a little stock,salt and pepper.probaly cost as much to do a massive pot full as to buy a ready made tin,call me tight but every little helps. I use chickpeas for loads of recipes.
