Broccoli & Stilton Soup Help??

Hi,

Before SW i used to make lots of soups. One of my favourite treats is Broccoli & Stilton. However it used to have one ingredient I fell i can no longer use. 100ml double cream, the syns are way too high. Can anyone recommend a substitution?

I used 56g Blue Stilton (11 syns) but it does serve 4 people so only 2.75 well 3 then each!

I miss it so much. Hope someone can help?

Well you could try FF natural yoghurt or fromage frais but they don't withstand high temperatures or boiling so would need added at the very end of cooking. But for a few syns you could try RF creme fraiche or 2% total greek yoghurt for some extra creaminess.
 
DOH!! I use yoghurt and fromage frais all the time but never thought of it in soups. Will give it a try. Thanks
 
I would use RF creme fraiche - I think it's much nicer than cream and have used it in soups before, definately worth the few syns!
