BUDGET

I second the separate freezer I couldn't live without it! Also it is full of bargains like in the reduced section I quite frequently pick up fresh fish for less than £1. Most of veg is all frozen and the value range. We also get our meat from a Market as you can usually pick up good quality meat for a lot less than the supermarket. Our last trip was yesterday and we spent £40 but for that we'll get 10 chicken breasts (big ones as well), 1 whole huge gammon joint sliced, whole rack of lamb sliced, 12 pork chops, bag of chicken thighs and drumsticks and there was probably about 15 in there. As soon as we get home we portion it out and freeze the lot and that will probably last us a couple of months. I think it's just planning it and knowing where the bargains are and with all meals it's about bulking them out with beans, lentils an veg. It can be done and I know it takes planning because I used to be a nightmare and we've managed to cut costs significantly.
