I don't know if the 'thinking' has changed but I'd be inclined to go down the dry foods and plain water path.

hope he feels better soon xx

We do the no food for 24 hours but plenty of water. All my kids have had it recently as did my DH!

There is a really nasty bug making the rounds Hun...my Daughter has had it too. We just stuck to the plain food and water rule..dioralyte when she was really ropey, but within 24 hours she was back to her usual self.

Hope he gets better soon.

I would advise no food and plenty of fluids for a while, to let the 'gut' settle down.

I do hope he will be better for his birthday.
