Just wondered if food optimising is basically a way to reduce calories or if there is something more scientific about it? Thanks
 
Is basically a calorie controlled diet that you don't have to think about as well as ensuring that all your nutrional needs are being met.

No more scientific than that.

I've checked by calorie counting what I eat as I go. It came to about 1,700 calories, but that was a jacket potato heavy day!

There's a certain amount of science about the saiety value of foods (not all calories are created equal...) but it's basically a eat fewer calories deal :D
 
reduced calories or calories created by saturated fats, low sugar intake, high protein and increased fibre with limited milk products=healthy eating really lol
