Day off an bloody dog got me up arghhh!!!

Day 23 for me woop woop!!! Gonna meet girls for a coffee take dog for walk an got friend popping round later then off to work later!!!

Menu for today

Breakfast. Fruits of forest
Dinner. Peanut bar
Tea. Veg soup

Oh an not forgetting 4 litres of water!! Living the dream!

Hello ladies hope your well.


Feeling a bit crappy tonight, tons of housework to be done, kids got on my wick today..pulled down my Xmas tree to keep me occupied only to realise I must have thrown the decorations last year "/ OH has gone out and I'm craving food so much.

Just made a crappy feely thread but posted it in the wrong section lol. Just want these last 19lbs to bugger off now so I can go back to slimming world and eat again lol. I know il be ok in a bit but just needed a rant lol x

Hi babe that's rubbish Hun weekends r worst, stick with it I've lost 16 in 3 weeks u can do this and it does get easier I promise week 3 u won't feel hungry or crave food xxxx

I hope so lol I dread this feeling down lark, it's every couple of days. Someone on my FB just made me feel even crappier too... "Be careful when you stop CD to do slimmingworld"

Would this be ok? I know I couldn't go up the steps on CD, the food just isn't for me, I'd much rather the shakes than chicken and veg all the time, I don't like prawns or tofu or any of the other things in the list

My plan from the start was to SS then go back to slimming world food. Help, confused :( x

The thing about SS and SS+ (and even 810) is that you tend to be in ketosis when you're on them. So you have depleted glycogen and water stores (carbohydrate stores in your liver). When you start eating carbs, those glycogen stores get replenished, so you'll gain anything between 4-7lbs. Depending on which version of SW you do, you may regain those glycogen stores rather quickly - for example, if you do green days. Red days are lower carb and less likely to cause such a fast bounce upwards, but there'll still be a bounce upwards - which may well come back down again if you actually continue losing weight on SW. If you like, your glycogen-loaded state is actually your real weight. Your 'ketosis' weight is actually a few pounds lower than your real weight.

Am I making any sense? :)

Yes. And going from my own experience, cos I've swapped once or thrice :D you might not see a gain the first week - it might not happen until the second week. That's when you have to hold your nerve, LOL. But you should be fine doing what you've planned.

I've put 1 stone 7 on since may after losing 4 stone on slimmingworld before. holding my nerve shouldn't be a problem after that shocker lol.. As long as I see losses afterwards. I txt my old SW consultant in a panic too and she's just txt back saying basically the same. Said I won't see that massive loss I usually have in my first weeks but should be fine after.

Heads been going round and round! Why oh why weren't we given one of those good metabolisms like them skinny girls who eat everything lol :( x
