Can a newbie not post in diary section?

Hi, I just spent an hour writing a ridiculously long post for my diary and when I clicked submit it said access denied to that page and I clicked back to copy the message ide wrote and try again and it was gone? Am I not allowed to post in that section? Absolutely gutted was being well brave posting my story .

May as well answer myself! Ive managed to post in there now, not sure why what happened happened :s.

It might just have logged you out? That sometimes happens if you write a big post. Usually if you log straight back in it posts anyway but if it's a big post it's sometimes a good idea to copy before you hit submit just in case

Ive noticed it's logged me out few times even though ive clicked remember me box, I was very confused haha.
