Hi, wondering if any counsellors can advise me - i lost several stone last year on CD and stuck rigidly to the diet. However, have regained about a stone and a half and want to do CD again. Only thing is I've recently torn several ligaments in my knee and chipped the bone and have got to wear a splint for 6 weeks then physio. (3 weeks in at the moment). Would my injury exclude me from starting CD at the moment while things are healing?

Unfortunately you would more than likely have to wait until your injury had healed before commencing any CD programme.

Normally you have to wait until you are discharged before you start and your Gp will have to sign it off.

Ask you CDC to check this out for you.

Thanks. I'll check it out then! Will have to try some damage limitation in the meantime!
