Can I have prawns on 790? And what about salad dressing??

    Hello everyone,

    I was wondering if anyone knows if I am allowed prawns on the 790??? Also what salad dressing can I use? If none can I just use plan vinegarette??

    You can have prawns - but can't remember the amount. It is very small amount - as I believe prawns has a lot of cholesterol in them.

    Fat free salad dressing is allowed on 790, as is herbs and spices.

    Think you'd be safer with either white fish, tuna steak or tinned tuna in water.

    LOL we keep posting at the same time - can't remember now- did ring Cambridge when one of my clients was on 790 and they said yes .... but it was a small amount. They've shut up shop for the night now, or I'd have rung them for you. If you want to have them tomorrow night - I'll find out???

    Will ring them first thing tomorrow - unless one of the other CDC's comes on here tonight and knows the answer.

    Prawns are really salty so I would avoid the amount is minimal and not in any of the literature as really they should be avoided.

    Also can I swap milk for fromage frais?

    You can swap you milk for 250 ml low fat yoghourt so I cannot see why low fat fromage fraise would not be okay
    enjoy just check out calories etc:eat:

    You could add 125 ml low fat yog to can of tuna in water 130 g with choped radish, celery and cucumber and save half your protein option for later.:eat::p
