Carly & Muffy's mission 'home run'

Good Morning TS peoples. I'm muffy :)

Just wanted to start this thread in preparation for tomorrows big 8 week stint of TS until 4th July which will hopefully see me at 9 stone 9 and a 'healthy' bmi.

I'm going to be joined in this mission by my buddy Carly and I'm sure she will be along to introduce herself and write her reasons down soon?

My reasons are because .... I started at 17 stone 4.3 lb in january and i am now 12 stone 3 ish. Iv been TS for the 1st month i was on vlcd and then 99% for 10 weeks after that and the last 6 weeks iv just messed about every 5 days so I want to be 100% again so that I can get to where I'm going quickly with no distractions. I'm calling it 'home run' as no matter what my weight is when the 8 weeks is up, I will stop and if I'm 100% TS there is no reason why I won't be below my 140lb goal by then.
Even in my worst month I still lost 12lb so I'm hoping at my best I'll get 16lb a month off... I'm so excited! Im also going to try not to weigh in until 4 weeks have passed. I was thinking that as long as im 100% im Going to be losing so weighing in every day is not needed abd it should hopefully stop me from sabotaging myself every time I near a crucial point on the scales too. I am normally addicted to weighing every morning but I think I'm in the right frame of mind to do this without the scales so theyr going and I might just pop on the boots scales once a week if I'm in town. Last weigh in I was around 12 stone 3 lb but iv had the weekend off plan ( my only planned weekend off in 18 weeks ) so I'll be adjusting all my tickers with my new starting weight in the morning xx

I promise myself....
I will not mention the F word in total solution forum!
I will not eat anything or drink anything not on the total solution plan!
I will drink enough water every day!
I will have 3 packs every day!
I will not weigh in every day!
I will keep reminding myself that I'm nearly there and it's all going to be worth it!

It's going to be a relief to get back to TS in the morning...

You're defo on the home run Muffy....And with a mate to do it wiv ya at home too..wot a result!!! good luck !!! oh and your before and after pics are really amazing...amazing ....amazing... xxx

Hi Guys :) I'm Carly the other half of this terrible twosome :)
I'm just finishing week 9 and my losses so far have not been mind blowing, I had a week off in the middle and have been having the odd WS day here or there to help, so no more! (must remember not to use the f word)!
I'm in ketosis now and feeling slightly more stable so the "extras" must go :)
This morning I was 12.8 3/4 (will weigh again tomorrow for WI day and update) so I am really hoping that after 8 weeks solid TS I can be below 10.7 :) (10 would be amazing!) This would leave me only 1 stone to go until target and I'm really hoping to be at target as soon as possible as OH and I want to get married (and the dress I have bought is a 10-12) :) Also would LOVE to be off this somewhere near my birthday (26th Aug).
I am sure we can do 8 weeks TS :D (not so sure about the 4 week weigh ins LOL shhhh)
Will NOT be weighing daily!
I will weigh at the end of May because I think that is when Sandals are due to have their annual sale and I need to know the progress of the weight loss to see if/when to book this holiday/wedding :) (I am also supposed to be doing Mia's 5 week challenge which ends on 21st so not sure if I will weigh for that :S will have to see closer to the time)

OK so....:
1. Like Muffy says must not mention F word on TS forum or starlight will move our thread (which would be embarrassing as it is supposed to be a TS f*** free thread)
2. I am not a fan of any of the allowable drinks so 4.5 litres of the old tap stuff a day :S (Always find this hard!)
3. Will have my 3 packs even if not hungry
4. I will not weigh in daily
5. I must stop telling myself this will not work, that my losses are cr*p and that I won't get anywhere near 10.7, this is not a helpful line of thought!!!
6. I will try and keep positive 10.7 here I come :)

Bring on Monday am :D

any day now we will both be in the same half of 12 stone together. it will be interesting to see if we get to lose around the same aount each week.
ill be weighing in monthly but may jump on the scales on random days each week at boots to update my ticker if i really stuggle to not peek. i want to to be in the 11's so much now that im scared iv just piled on 5-6 lb by having 3 days off. ill be back to 12.7 if i have :eek:
right, i have to get a move on.

Yes I think I might have to jump on the scales occasionally but think I might try to wait til the end of May so there is a chance it might have an 11 in it :)
Although knowing my competitive nature I am sure I will probably weigh when you do see who is doing better lol
Well we are similar heights, I am 5' 2.5''ish pretending to be 5'3'' and i believe you are 5' 1.8" pretending to be 5'2" LOL where did you ever get your height measured that accurately?!?!
Sure you haven't you haven't gone mad and tbh even if you did go up that much it'll be gone within a week :)

Good luck ladies!! You can both do it! I've also commited myself to a 72 day ts challenge so I'll be keeping a lookout for your progress to keep me on the straight and narrow too hehe no pressure! Xx

I jumped on my scales just now and they tell me 'computer says noooo' !!!
I have a closing balance tonight of 12 stone 6.8 lb :eek: woops!

I'm still awake been writing some stuff down, sorting my head out for tomorrow. Watching a film - 'the bucket list' on itv2 . makes me think ....
Lifes too short :( let's make the most of it :)

Ill Be here 7am ish with opening balance
For day one. Gulp!

Good luck to both of you ladies! You've had some great losses. I'm just starting out this week at 291lbs (20st 8lb) so to hear that this year you have gone from 17st to 12st is very encouraging.

gonna add my weight and make it all official.....
start weight this morning...

Nomormuffin top = 12 stone 5.6lb, 0lb lost, 30lb to go!

decided to reduce my goal a bit because i cant see me losing more than 4lb a week as much as id like to think its possible im scared of expecting too much and feeling like a failure so now i aim to lose 3.75lb on average a week.

I feel really sick atm and need to get kids to school but ill be back xxx
