Celeriac, yum!

Determind to do it!!!!!!!
It says you can have celeriac raw, what are the carb grams for it cooked, any idea?

we just had celariac chips for tea, with pork chops and mushrooms.

a little on the high side for atkinsers, but a nice treat!

The best thing to do is measure it raw. The carbs don't increase in cooking, but the weight decreases, so the same amount of a cooked food is always higher in carbs. So measure raw and you know what you're getting.

100g raw celeriac is 8g carbs, and that's not a huge amount as it's quite heavy, so be careful with it on induction.

There are all these vegetables yet to be explored, I am so glad to have found this wonderful potato sub.

Can you have swede?

Celeriac is yummy, but a little high carb for induction

Swede is 7G in 100 gram

Might have swede instead for induction then, cheers all!

Roasted swede and celeriac - perfect alternative to roast potatoes!
