OK, I am at work and trying not to commence my filing, although the pile is huge and getting bigger, I cannot muster the thought of starting it, so I have thought of some things I want to change little everyday things that bug me and only happen because of my size. Mick and I are going on another cruise next Feb (we went on one this Feb, it was amazeballs but I gained 11lbs!) and so I want to lose 4 stone if possible, which I guestimated was 6lb a month, which I thought was quite do-able - so:

1. I want regular, hotel type towels to fit round me and not leave a gaping hole down the front, when we were on the cruise I tied them to the side and walked around the cabin like a crab so Mick wouldn't see my folds! In the end I used to steal the beach towels as they were bigger and fitted better, esp. towards the end of the cruise, the gape just got gapier!

2. I want to weigh less than Mick. He is 6 foot and stocky, yet I am still bigger than him!

3. I dont want to fret about the plane on the seatbelt not fitting. I have never had to ask for an extension yet and I dont plan to, although there have been some close shaves where I literally have to breathe in!

4. I hate sweating at the drop of a hat (or the sniff of exertion or warm weather!). This really bothers me. I tend to sweat on my face first, which is so embarassing.

5. I want it to be easier when I paint and clip my toenails. My big fat belly gets in the way.

6. I would love to wear a bikini - I haven't worn one since I was about 13.

7. My legs have always rubbed together at the very top - I don't want a huge gap between my legs, I think that looks weird - but I would like not to have to use chuffing anti-chafing cream (which doesn't really work anyhoo!)

8. I hate it that my bra cuts in around my chest and I have to re-arrange it a lot - I want a nice comfy bra.

9. Nice knickers! I want to wear some nice numbers, not the M&S apple catchers I currently wear for comfort reasons.

10. I need to think of a tenth to complete my list.... Oh yeah, I want to look at photographs of myself and not think "eurgh my chin, my tummy, my this my that" I want to think, "what a great photo, I look good".

Sounds good to me Charley, Im sure you can do it, think positive. And you do what you said made me giggle but not in a bad way just in I think the same. xx p.s are cruises good and where are you going this time? x
 
Hi just having a little read of your diary. I loved your list. The thing about the towels reminded of when I went to a spa with my friends and the dressing gowns swamped them.....I looked like mine had shrunk in the wash!!

Thanks Sugar, glad u giggled its all said tongue in cheek! We totally loved the cruise, it was our first one and I had my doubts, but my god it was everything we hoped it would be. So much fun, and so exciting waking up and being in a different island. We did the Caribbean and we are doing it again as we couldn't get enough of it. It was pure bliss, the ship was elegant and decadent and the food - OMG the food! If u get the chance do it! X

Oh it's awful isn't it K?!? I went on holiday to Tenerife with a couple of girlfriends in september last year - my avatar pic was taken there - and you could have jumped rope with the amount of slack left on their plane seatbelts!! Mine was digging in me big fat belly and they both wore bikinis while I sweated in a big old cozi - did it stop me making the most of the all inclusive food and wine on tap (and yes, it was ACTUALLY on tap from 11am - 11pm and u could help yourself)? Did it fook! I put 6lbs on in a week on that holiday!!! x
 
Good as didn't want you thinking I was laughing at U, I've upped my syns mainly on cheese stuff as the ones I brought aren't classed as healthy extras just my luck but my will I enjoy it x

I am keeping syns low as I just Marinated meat this morning in unmeasured sauces. Nando medium is only .5 syns per tbsp and I have just coated the thighs, BBQ sauce has been done the same although higher in syns. I will not use anymore syns today because of my tea, which I am probably overestimating, but hey it's better than underestimating!

So food pics of my brekkie and my food load for during the day - quite impressive huh?! I will post a pic of dinner tonight:

Hello Charleybarley, saw your avatar in xsugarfairyx's diary and noticed we are both Essex Girls and have around the same amount of weight to lose

Have really enjoyed your diary so far and will stay subscribed

A tip to not eat the chicken skin remove before cooking that way you don't lose the tastiest marinade part x

Hi Donna! I was going to write to u too, us being Essex girls and all!! What part of Essex are u from? I will go an find your diary and subscribe myself. I remember you from before, you did well before didnt you? I am do glad your mum is better, you hear so many horrid stories that dont end well, is lovely to hear your mum fougght the battle and won!

Thanks for that tip, which I did do in that pic of Friday nights meal and I didn't miss the skin, but sometimes you just need the skin! Do u know what I mean?

Well I have been bad all weekend, Saturday involved copious amounts of wine, doritos, dips, 3 slices of pizza M&S ones 3 slices of garlic bread, and birthday cake - but hey it's not everyday your sister turns...45 is it?!?

Sunday started off well, with brunch of egg toast abs bacon (although rind on - what is it with me and animal skin?!? - I an thinking of hypnosis to overcome my skin fetish!!) and then we went to see my sis in law run the marathon, man those people are brave, I felt very ashamed of my lazy arsed self, I need to do some exercise. Then we came home, was too tired to cook and had a nandos - skin on, half a chicken (greedy grunt) spicy rice and two slices of halloumi, and I added a tomato and onion salad on it myself for good measure. Enough should have been enough, but we had our nandos feast quite early and so at 9:30pm I had three cream crackers with butter and peanut butter AND some French stick, about 4 inches worth, with butter and ham. That's it... Oh no and I had my boyfriends slice of my Sisters birthday cake! Oh god I feel like I am in confession, how many hail marys should I say!

Anyway, let's draw a line under that and start anew. Todays diary to follow ! X
 
Green day - when I have these I always think of the group... don't wanna be an American Idiot....

B - Weetabix Choccie Bite Size, chopped banana and milk (HEA, about 2 thirds)

L - Pasta n Sauce (1) (pre made at home and reheated at work - why have I never done this for lunch before it was great) and egg salad with salad cream (1).



Snacks - Berries and Coconut Muller

D - Mexican Veggie Cheese Burger, Chips and Salad (HEB & HEA) - (2.5 for burger) (2 syns for ketchup and chilli sauce)

I will add photos later. x
