Step 1 Sole Source Cheating on Cambridge

So two weeks behind me. Cannot say it's easy. I thought that after the first week I'll get used to it and it will get easier but it is a battle every day. The second week i was weighing myself every day and seeing that I am not losing weight as fast as I imagined was pretty discouraging. I lost barely 3 lb the second week. Unfortunately there was a major crisis on day 13. I slipped and had a slice of cheese, 3 cherry tomatoes and two olives. Strange choice, I know. It wasn't much but it was a cheat and of course right the next day i had even bigger cravings and I had cheese and bite of fish. I cannot even bare the thought of Cambridge soup, las night I thought I won't be able to eat it and I really wasn't to et the whole thing :( I woke up today with hopefully new strength so will see. I am still determined to lose Ll my ugly weight but I am not so sure i'll be able to do it on Cambridge the whole time....
 
I saw this thread and just had to comment...

Iv pretty much complete my weightloss journey.. Now it's just a maintaining process... I too did Cambridge and can promise you I felt exactly the same pretty much every day for the last 6 months. But it has genuinely paid off... And now I want to make you realise that you can do it!!!!!

Iv lost 6 stone in total - from 16.7lb now at 10.7lb thought cambridge diet and it has been a massive journey!! I went for a weigh in today (been on 1500kcals with exercise) and lost another 3lb... So consultant has upped my calories again!! I pretty much have come up with all the "cheats" in the book to get me through it... But honestly it all will pay off!!

I too had times when I cheated... Including having a WHOLE (no exaggeration) packet of cookies on new years eve... After sole sourcing since October... Obvious shock to system and gained... But I got through it and kept thinking "no... I started this CWP journey... That must mean I'm not happy with my weight... So that's why I must stick to it"

I have had the most bizarre losses... On Solesource I started with a 9lb loss... Followed by a 4lb then generally lost 2lb a week (which felt unfair for the stress and struggle of not eating/socialising) but then I looked at the bigger picture... That's half a stone in a month... Thats incredible!

I got to a point where on sole source (after about 4 months) I began sts each week. Consultant suggested upping steps - luckily weight loss began again - on average 2lb a week on 810, 2lb a week on 1000 and 3lb a week on 1200 with exercise!

Just keep going! It will be worth it. Drink gallons of black tea/coffee to keep you fuller longer and crush shakes with a pint of ice an eat with a spoon to make them last longer and feel a bit naughtier (icecreamish!)

:( I feel your pain today. I want to eat everything. All I can say is stick with it, it will be worth it in the end!! you will look back and be glad you did it. Find things to keep your mind active so its not thinking of food.
