Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

Just realised. It's WI day tomorrow. Eeeeep!!! My first one of re-starting! 10 days in.... Watch this space.

Not sure I could be any more disappointed really. A week and a half back on plan, mostly EE days, bits of exercise, and I've lost 0.5kg/1lb :(
Now I know a lb, is a lb, is a lb, but I was hoping for something a little more for being so good.
Ah well. Will have to keep trying!x

Damn, you deserved more than that off! :(
I know you have the injection but do you notice any loss pattern from your (hidden) cycle? Some weeks for me I have to try twice as hard as others to get the same loss, other weeks it comes off without trying- really frustrating on the weeks one tries hardest!
What I love about the wii is that the weight graph gives me a wavy line and I can see this pattern reflected... Maybe (if you can be arsed) jot down the WI days and weights lost at certain times of the past few months and see if there is any pattern? Kinda time consuming though.

Cheese is so damn calorific that I bet those EE days are saving you a lot of calories in that front! I never really looked at the calories of HexA's but I bought an ASDA fruit platter thing- it was small and had maybe 8 grapes and one sliced up apple and a small chunk of cheddar- 200cal for the lot! The cheddar was smaller than a babybell! It was shocking as I got another fruit platter that was double the size and less calories... I guess grapes are quite high too compared to very watery melon etc. Shocking... 200cal... Could have had a chocolate bar for that :/ thought it was a weight loss kinda snack and I guess it was more filling but seriously...!

Sorry to hear the hair didn't work out so great, hope you warm up to it as you try it in different styles... Really annoying that she didn't fix it to be what you wanted :/ but you have quite a good relationship with this woman don't you? Kinda awkward to demand I guess... £50 is a lot though considering she didn't seem to take what you asked to accurate consideration!
x

I'm wondering if I gained a bit more after I did my pre-restart WI. I think I still had about 3 days off plan before I actually started. And I know it takes a while for a gain to actually show.
But still, rather disheartening really when I think of how dramatically I've changed my eating in the last 11 days.
Doesn't help that SW are re-tweeting people who have had 7+ lb losses in their first week, you know?
Just, half a kg wasn't what I was expecting :(

On the plus side I do feel a bit better in myself and not so bloated and Meh.
Just frustrating because I know the next couple of weeks are going to be very difficult food wise, an insane amount of meals out planned!! All's I can do is stick to plan in between and hope for the best.

I never noticed a pattern with weight loss even when I did have periods. Wasn't really looking tho. They used to be really regular tho, the 1st of the month.

My hair is annoying me. She did fix it a bit, like I had it stripped, dyed & foils, then dyed again when I didn't like it. I'd been there 5hrs at that point and we couldn't have done any more.
Seeing it today its still too red. I want it brown and caramels. We'll see. Good job I'm laid back about my hair.x

Uhhh re-weigh!! I think that deserves a re-weigh! I'd be shocked if that didnt shift at VERY LEAST 1lb if not 2lbs..! If I were you I would do a one off re-weigh :p but I cheat a lot like that hehe.
So annoying about hair- telling them caramel and getting red... I would return and ask them to sort it. My friend hated how her hair was dyed too bright a blonde, reduced her to tears, I told her to go back and she did and they fixed it for free. X

I can't re-weigh, not in work now till next week. Just going to wait until next weekend. Give it another week :)

I'm going to give my hair a few more days. I do like it, but it's not what I wanted really. I have a feeling that she thought I may want to keep some of the red coming through. I wouldn't expect her to re-do it for free. She's a mobile hairdresser and it's her only job and she did spend 5hours on me yesterday. I'll just explain how I feel and see what we can do. Might have to wait till after Feb pay day tho. I'm not upset about it or hate it or anything, it's just a bit too close to what I normally have and not the "big change" I wanted. She's a lovely lady though and we are friends so I'm sure we can work something out between us.x

Good grief - why couldn't your alimentary canal cooperate and do that the day before WI?!!!!

Just called in quickly because I've been reading a report on some testing of fitness monitors and I know you want one. Basically, the researchers were looking at the calories used calculations and they found that the gadgets are up to 40% inaccurate. The best had an error rate of 15%, the Fitbit Flex was less than 20% inaccurate and the Polar Loop was 40% out.

I think I'll save my money and stick with Map my Walk on my phone to measure distance and not worry about calorie usage!

Sorry your loss wasn't bigger and wasn't what you wanted, but a loss is still good :) Funny you should say you may have gained after your first WI when you started back, we were talking about that in group last week and my consultant said it can sometimes take a few days for a gain to show after you've eaten a load of junk so it could be your start weight wasn't accurate showing less of a loss this time. Do you always weigh yourself at the same time? That can affect losses too, hopefully it will show next time you weigh especially after such an active day of toilet visits lol.
Hi Patty, I bought the Fitbit zip and love it, I don't really pay any attention to the calories because they don't factor into SW I just use it to measure my steps, distance, active minutes and track my walks. On the app on my phone I can track walks via GPS and it works pretty much like map my walk. I got mine quite cheap, it worked out pretty much the same price as a decent pedometer with the advantages of being able to see everything on my phone or the laptop and logging food it I want to. I wouldn't fork out for the flex as I'm not interested in sleep patterns and can't wear it in work because we have short sleeves. I also like you can add friends and have challenges among yourselves.
I'm sure your hair looks lovely even if it's not quite what you wanted, mine needs doing desperately it's far too long :(

Hope you have a nice weekend x x x x

I promise I will do a proper update soon.
Had a lovely fake birthday afternoon today. Too much food tho!!

Just did a quick bit of research to see if Matcha increases, erm, toilet visits. And the general answer seems to be yes, yes it does. It promotes increased gut health and movement and stimulates all sorts of fun things that help out your intestines. Another bonus of Matcha then :)

Right, I really need to try and sleep. Have two early shifts in a row and I'm knackered. Any sleep would do right now.
Cheerio for now.xx

Ooh so what is this matcha challenge you are doíng? If it attracts the poo fairy I need to get on it!

It does taste nice, nicer than regular green tea. I've been doing it almost 2 weeks now and can definitely feel some differences. I think it needs more than a two week trial though so going to keep on doing it for a while. The special offer is on till the end of Jan so I'm going to buy a couple of more pots to last me the next couple of months too and see how it goes on a longer trial :)

Well I'm annoyed with myself because I did a sneaky re-weigh this morning. Have gained 1.5kg/3lbs...... Now I know it can't possibly be a true weight gain since Friday. I did have the day off plan yesterday, but it wasn't too horrific. Trying hard to ignore it and not feel too rubbish, but I do! Esp knowing I have a meal out tonight and my birthday on Wednesday.
I know I just have to keep going and keep trying. But it is SO disheartening! I don't want to give up and end up a million times worse and heavier, but it is difficult to keep battling against my body all the time *sigh*

Busy day today. Been in work on an early. Need to make lunch now. Then get a shower and do my hair and stuff. Pick Mum up from work and go meet Rachelle and Michelle at the travel agents. And then try and get to my friends leaving meal on time. *phew* xx

Daaaamn :( but did you weigh at the same time of day? What was your fluid intake like before? Pint of water could gain you a pound probably... Clothes the same? I get so paranoid about these variables so always weigh before breakfast in the nude LOL. Try doing that in your work corridor... ;)
What did you off plan day entail? I always bloat 2lbs the day after a chinese take away or ANY alcohol, but usually just lasts 24hrs.

I was in work. So same clothes, same time, same shoes, had had half a cup of coffee that morning....

I had no alcohol on my afternoon off and had Indian street food - much healthier than restaurant/takeaway food. I dunno. It's just my body being sh*t. And it's all over the place with these meals off plan. Being popular sucks lol!!

After tomorrow I will have a good run of healthy days, over a week, until we go to the veggie place for Michelle's birthday. I know January is always rocky and hard work for me, I do. But I still can't help the disappointment. But getting past this week and it should be much easier for me to stay on plan. At least socialising wise!! Work-wise it's gonna go majorly t*ts up ;) But I'm usually alright with work stuff. It's sociable stuff that gets me. xx
