MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology. The Masai rarely wear shoes and have a very different way of walking, very natural,
Katycakes;3256362 @ Chels said:He did KC, the dirty little stop-out was jaywalking across the bathroom ceiling when I got up at 6:30!!!!
He is now nursing a sore head in the corner, left of the sinkThat'll teach him
@ Bess, yes, they do, it's us who have developed an 'unnnatural' way of walking cos of years of shoes and hard pavements, apparently.
I'm sure you are right re the posture KC, that is probably why folk say they have pain initially with these shoes as your body has to realign correctly. Makes sense. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. xxx@ Bess, not sure, just the CD had docs etc saying how we had bad posture & had lost the abilty to be in tune with our bodies, leading to assorted problems... possibly all a scam, but might be something to it, who knows. And I do like the sandals, so all is good!
@ Chels, have a fab weekend and relax... ahhhh!

Aah Wales, I know what you mean about losing posts, it is usually when you have written a really long, incisive and hilarious (?) post too. I get so fed up when that happens.Darn, just lost my post, stoopid computer. Just wanted to say hope you are having a great weekend, that I am loving your bright and sunny outlook plus the Tales of Eric. x
I am in a very new relationship with myself right now. Finding out that actually I'm ok and that I am worth bothering with. I may even treat myself to a red rose or three
Racehorse-ish? You do make me smile. I would soooooo love to have long legs. I'm a bit like Ernie Wise.......the one with the short, fat, hairy legs!!! I guess these days, 50 can be the new prime time. Yup. We are in our prime, you in a long-legged racehorse-ish way and me in an Ernie wayAnd another think, Miss Chels, enough of this 'old bird' malarkey, I am only a teensy step behind you and I prefer to think we are in our prime... not in a 'beef' kind of way, more a long-legged racehorse-ish way. So there.
